16: Pinky and The Ghost

a/n: this is one of the weaker chapters, but trust me there is not one dull moment in the chapters after this.

"AHHH!"

"MMM!"

"URK!"

"GOD!"

"...!"

heejin began to talk to the spinners through the speaker inside their cells.

"the spiders are your enemy. never forget that." heejin turned off the spinners collars when she finished her sentence.

"guh! get this shit off of me!" minju screamed, pulling at her collar. no matter what, it didn't come off. the collar sapped her strength.

all of them had the strength of regular humans. none of them were nearly strong enough to break the collar.

"let us out! it's been hours!" moka screamed. "...probably..." she tacked on quietly.

the lack of windows and the constant pain made it hard to gauge how much time passed.

the pain in their necks flared up again.

"AHH!"

"TURN IT OFF!"

the five girls writhed in pain as their collars began shocking them again.

"the spiders are your enemy."

wonhee fell to the floor in pain.

"the spiders are my enemy."

she said with tears in her eyes.

and suddenly, the pain stopped.

heejin was fair.

heejin was nice.

all she had to do was admit the truth, the spiders were her enemy, and all the pain stopped.

"say it again. louder." heejin said, broadcasting her voice to only wonhee's cell.

"the spiders are my enemy!"

"LOUDER, SPIDERSHOT!"

"THE SPIDERS ARE MY ENEMY!"

"BELIEVE IT! SHOUT IT!"

"THE SPIDERS ARE MY ENEMY! ILL BRING THEM DOWN!"

wonhee's collar unlocked and fell to the floor.

she smirked.

quickly, she extended her top two fingers, shooting the glass in front of her. it took nine shots, but finally, the glass broke.

"HA HA HA!" wonhee laughed mockingly as she approached haerin's cell, looking into it, like a child looking at a caged animal in a zoo.

"help me..." haerin cried.

fire burned below her, as high pitched sounds played in the speaker above her. her ears were bleeding, as were the rest of the symbiotes.

"you're too weak to fight back. i could kill you right now. break the glass, shoot ya. your healing is nowhere near as good as your friend anti venom! a single shot might kill ya." wonhee smiled, sitting down outside of haerins cell. "but, there's no fun in that. how about i... break the glass, and see how many shots you can take. i'll shoot you in the hands and feet first, you know, make sure i don't kill you in one shot."

wonhee said "pow!" quietly, while pointing at haerin with a finger gun.

"stop it... please, just break the glass... i'm sorry..." haerin cried.
