this entire article would anger hanni. mary jane always wrote articles about the five spiders, and ever since she wrote the first article about Spinneret, hanni would fall in love with her work. however, this article wasn't about spinneret. it was about hanni.

about her history, about her school, about who she was, it revealed everything about her. including her hospitalization. the day she was hospitalized, someone leaked what room she was in.

that's when the general public learned that she had been kidnapped.

"bro, the spiders couldn't even stop one of them from getting kidnapped LMAO"

"how hard is it to keep a fuckin eye on a whole human being😭"

"spinneret, spidershock don't deserve you boo. if it was me, i'd never let you get kidnapped."

"guys it was me i kidnapped spinneret"

"hyunseo! did you see that spinnerets identity was revealed?" gaeul asked.

"dude, i did. it's insane! we like, know her."

"bro, hear me out. spinneret and spidershock are dating, and hanni and minji are dating. doesn't that mean that minji is spidershock?" gaeul theorized.

"maybe. that would be even crazier."

"what if that friend group is the spiders? i mean, they had heeseo, and now hanni? you could be going to school with one of the spiders!" gaeul exclaimed.

"i have no idea what you're talking about!" hyunseo's voice suddenly got higher pitched.

she was lying.

"hyunseo. what do you know?" gaeul asked, trying to intimidate her.

"i promised not to tell! she'll be so mad..."

"alright, fine, i won't pry. but, you confirmed it. hyein is a spider... now it's just a matter who..."

hyein was going to kill her...

this whole ordeal led to more attention being brought to the kidnappings at ESU. it felt like all eyes in the nation were on the spiders.

"listen, we've been getting less and less popular by the day. this is our chance to start our redemption." haerin instructed. "if we fuck up on this, we could lose the public forever."

"oh, who gives a fuck about what people think about us? let's just go find hanni." minji said angrily.

haerin sighed.

"i'll bet you anything that the hole the lizard came out of has something to do with the kidnappings. we'll go in there, and see what we can find."

the spiders stood around the hole. the sun was setting. the air was still.

haerin took a deep breath, jumping in. the hole was deep, and when she landed on the floor, she was in an abandoned subway station.

this line hadn't been used in a long time. there was vines and other plants growing everywhere. bugs that crawled and bugs that flew were infesting the place.
