11: A Flash of Purple

a/n: minji and hanni(kinda) do some really bad stuff in this chapter, so i added a little bit of fluff before shit hits the fan.

"so, you're saying that hanni is able to go home tonight?" minji asked a nurse.

"yep! we just have to do one last check of her vitals and stuff, to make sure she's stable, and she'll be home by 3! please, just make sure that she rests. her wound is closed, but any intense physical activity can easily reopen it." the nurse replied.

"how much physical activity is too much?" minji asked, hoping that the nurse wouldn't understand what she was really asking.

"no running or jumping, no sports, no sexual activity, and she should be careful while stretching, so she doesn't accidentally tear a stitch." the nurse replied.

damn.

"alright, sounds good. i'll keep an eye on her. thank you... eunchae." minji said, staring at the name tag on the nurses chest that said "hong eunchae, registered nurse."

"of course. i'll miss hanni, she's been an angel. if she should have any complications, bring her back." eunchae said.

minji waited in the front room for a while, until they brought out hanni in a wheelchair.

"alright, here she is! have a safe trip home! bye bye, you two!" eunchae said, giving the wheelchair to minji.

"hey." minji smiled.

hanni giggled slightly. "hey? that's all i get?"

"oh, right. sorry." minji cleared her throat. "most esteemed greetings, your majesty! please, may i push your single-seated chariot out of this hospital?" she asked in a fake posh accent.

hanni immediately started laughing and clutching her stomach. hopefully she wouldn't tear a stitch.

"okay, settle down han. don't hurt yourself." minji berated.

hanni pouted. "i never get to have any fun."

minji kissed hanni's pout, and they left the hospital.

"BOO!"

"QUIT!"

"SPINNERS ON TOP!"

"cmon hanni, let's go." minji whispered.

there were a lot of people outside, clearly not in support of the spiders. but to go out of their way to make her miserable right after she got out of the hospital?

minji speed walked to the parking lot. she helped hanni into the car, putting her wheelchair in the trunk.

"thank you so much for offering to drive us, gaeul." minji said, getting into her car.

"yeah, of course. it's the least i can do. it seems like yall are in pretty hot water." gaeul responded. "besides, why have a car if i never use it?"

minji and hanni both politely laughed at that. hanni clutched her stomach a bit after she laughed.

"so, why are you dressed up so nice? got something planned?" hanni asked.

"i'm hanging out with yujin and the girls later. hyunseo's probably still getting dressed." gaeul replied.

"oh fun! what are you guys gonna do?" minji asked, making polite small talk.

"honestly? no idea. yujin made plans to go see some superhero movie. such a geek." gaeul said with a smile. hanni and minji knowingly smirked at her. gaeul wiped the smile off her face. "so, she invited us. liz and rei are probably gonna be making out the entire time. hyunseo and i will probably be the only ones paying attention, while yujin makes googly eyes at wonyoung the entire time."
