11 : Study session

15 minutes later, kalyan came into the drawing room and turned of the tv while ansh was watching.

"Papa!!" Ansh irritatedly yells at kalyan.

"Utho aur get your books here. Dining table pe betho aur padai shuru karo!" Kalyan says in a no nonsense tone.

"Papaaaa yaaar!!! Aap kyu padne ko keh rahe ho?" Ansh whines

"Kya matlab he iska? Kal exam he tho padna padega! Get up ansh!!"

"Papaa atleast thodi der dekhne do na! Sach me man nahi hai ab!"

"Tum uth rahe ho ya me meri tareeke se uthao tumhe?" Kalyan says while taking dangerous steps towards ansh. Ansh scaredly gets up and goes to his room. Ishaan comes and sits on the dining table too while throwing his books on the table. He likes to study alone but his dad saw him sneakily using the ipad so he was dragged here. Ansh too comes and settles on the table. Ishaan starts studying but ansh has no plans to study now.

"Papaaaaa pleasee papaaa!! Nahi padna ab! Aap mumma ke tarah kyu behave kar rahe ho??" Ansh still whines while giving pleading looks to kalyan.

"Agar tumhari mumma hothi tho, tum ab tak ye nakhre karte?" Kalyan says in an irritated tone.

Ansh recalls and cringes about his study sessions with madhavi. Ansh hates studying and can't study without her motivation. So she becomes extra strict while making ansh study. Usually she is the sweetest mumma but when she is in her teacher mode everyone is scared of her. She gets her ruler and doesn't leave ansh until and unless he is done studying. Ansh having the attention span of a puppy doesn't sit well with her. He keeps losing concentration and can't sit and study for long amounts of time. But madhavi firmly gets his attention back.

"Ab nahi he na! Ab tho thoda sa enjoy karne doo pleasee papa!" Ansh pleads kalyan.

"Nahi ansh! Mujhe tumhari mumma ki tarah tere saath bait ke, ek ek cheez samjhake, padhake, test leke ye sab cheeze nahi aate he! Par iska matlab ye nahi ki me tumhe khula chod dunga!!" Kalyan says and ansh bangs his head on the dining table. Ishaan laughs at his misery.

"Mujhe farak nahi padta ki tum padhoge ye nahi! But you are not getting up until i tell you to! Ab tum kya karoge wo tumhari marzi! Par tera book open hona chahiye aur tu uske saamne bait na chahiye!" Kalyan says while he lays on the sofa.

"Tho me phone chalalu?" Ansh says excitedly.

"Me tumhari taange tod lu?" Kalyan replies in the same tone.

"Exams hone tak ek bhi gadget par haath nahi lagaoge tum dono!" Kalyan says while ansh is whimpering while mumbling.

"Dono pati aur patni ek jaise hi hai! Bache ko sukoon se nahi jeene dete!" Ansh mumbles. Kalyan hears it and shakes his head.

Ishaan studies seriously while ansh is doing everything but studying. He is wondering about everything in his house as if he has seen this for the first time. He was lost in thoughts a lot of times and doodled on his notebook for a while. He tried killing time like this but now he got bored of everything and there is not much he can do while sitting on a chair. He was growing frustrated and not even an hour has passed. He tried hard and wasted his time for an hour and kalyan finally spoke something.

"Chalo ab 5 minute break lelo" as soon as kalyan said this ansh ran away from there. Ishaan shakes his head but doesn't get up.

"Ishu! Beta thoda fresh hoke aao.." kalyan says softly.

"Nahi papa padne ke liye bohot zyada hai! Aur aap raat ko jagne bhi nahi dete! Me abhi pad lunga." Ishaan says while not lifting his head from the book. Kalyan nods and waits for ansh. 5,10,15 minutes have passed but he didn't come out of his room so kalyan himself went to get him.
