"Ansh beta please thodi der padle" madhavi pleads ansh as her energy is becoming so low due to him wasting time.
"Pad tho raha hu mamma" ansh says while looking out of the window, an act he has been doing since the past half an hour. He has been driving madhavi insane with goldfish like attention span.
"Ansh! Me bol rahi hu! Agar tu kal ki exam ki preparation complete nahi karega tho me tumhe khana bhi nahi dungi" madhavi says sternly.
"Ji ji jaise apki marzi" ansh says coolly as he knows that is never going to happen. Madhavi just holds her head in frustration and rubs her temples to ease the headache her younger son was giving.
"Theek he bata kya karni padegi mujhe, jisse tu padega? Daant chuki hu, maar chuki hu, itni itni dhamkia bhi di!! Ab tum hi batao kya karna hai mujhe!" Madhavi asks while holding both of ansh's hands. Madhavi can pick up the ruler and make ansh study right now but she doesn't want to do it as she knows the past couple of days have been hard on him and she doesn't want him to cry or get upset again.
"Pagal samajthe ho mujhe? Me kyu bataungaa... me nahi bataunga!" Ansh says while sticking his tongue out. Now madhavi is literally out of patience and leaves the room while screaming "tho karle apni man marzi!!"
"Ajeeb si mumma hai! Ab mujhe nahi pata me kis cheez se padta hu, kaise batau unko?" Ansh mutters and throws the books to a side as he is finally free of studying, although he has not been studying a bit.
Madhavi stormed out of the room and sat next to kalyan who was watching tv.
"Hogai padai?" Kalyan asks to initiate their talk but understands he took the wrong topic when madhavi glared at him with a piercing gaze.
"Hojathi agar apke raj kumar ko padne ka itna sa bhi man ho!" Madhavi snaps at kalyan.
"It's ok madhu... padai hi sab kuch nahi hothi he! Dekho mujhe, maine kabhi bhi dhang se padai nahi ki phir bhi i'm happy with my life." Kalyan says while smiling at her.
"Me life ki baat nahi kar raha hu kalyan! Atleast average marks tho lana hai na! Bilkul man nahi lagti ansh ki padai me! Ab results ayenge and as a mother me uski ptm me jaungi, aaaahh mujhe uske baare me tho sochne se hi aheeb sa hai!" Madhavi says while cringing.
"Koi mahi me chala jaunga!"
"Har roz ptm he apke dono bacho ki! Ansh ke teachers tho bolo bhi mat! Roz kuch nayi complaint, nayi shaitaani!"
"Bache aise hi hote hai, chod do! Ab aaram karo, me chai banake laata hu!" Kalyan says while getting up to go into the kitchen.
"Noor kaha hai?" Madhavi asks panicked as she wasn't able to find her anywhere.
"So rahi he room me, relax!" Kalyan says while smiling. He goes into the room, makes the chai and brings it to her. They talk leisurely while talking about various things and kalyan narrates everything that noor told him. Madhavi was devastated to know would be such an understatement.
"Bechari..."
"Aur tumhe pata hai? Wo ansh se ek saal hi choti hai!"
"Kya??? Wo 12 saal ki hai?" Madhavi asks shocked as noor is too small and doesn't look a day older than 10 years old.
"Haa... wo malnourished hai, so i think that's why she looks smaller and hence younger."
"Mmm tho hamari noor se same age hena??" Madhavi says while looking down as the baby they lost was also exactly one year younger than ansh.
"Kaash is bachi ki jaan hamari bachi me aajathi aur ye bachi hamare ghar me paida hothi! Sochne me kitni achi lagti hena??" Kalyan says while smiling.
