"Noor kya?" Madhavi who was impatient asks ravi.
"Me noor ko adopt karne ki soch raha hu...." Ravi drops the bomb and madhavi is shocked. She was not expecting it at all.
"Aap? Kyu..."
"Madhavi as per court decision, uss bachi ko orphanage me barthi nahi kar sakthe. Pathi nahi ye kaisa ajeeb sa decision hai!! Tho do options he, either koi isse adopt karle ya uske relatives ke ghar pe chod aye!"
"Uske relatives?? Nahi bhaiya!! Noor ne bataya tha wo kaise the!" Madhavi says while gasping.
"I knoww isliye adopt karna chahtha hu... par.."
"Koi dikkat hai?"
"Haa! Pallavi ye chinta kar rahi hai ki Agar me noor ko adopt kia tho kon sambhalega! Wo apni course keliye US jarahi hai and unke parents itne chote bache ki khayal nahi rakh sakhte... aur mere saath military base me thodi rahegi..... mujhe kuch samaj me nahi aarahi!!! Me ye bhi nahi keh saktha hu ki pallavi uski course chod de ya me hi retire ho jau..." ravi says while catching his head.
"Calm down bhaiya, me paani leke aati hu!" Madhavi goes and brings the water, tears now falling down her cheek as she thinks that noor will be sent back to her relatives.
"Thank you" ravi takes the water and gulps them.
"Tho kya karne ki soch rahe ho bhaiya?"
"Wahi mujhe kuch samaj me nahi aaraha...."
They both stay silent for a while in a daze. Madhavi speaks out after a while.
"Bhaiya.... Kya me aur kalyan adopt kar sakthe hai?" Madhavi asks and ravi looks at her in shock.
"Kya? Tum log adopt karloge!"
"Matlab mene aisa kabhi nahi socha, par me uss bachi ko wo ghatiya insaano ke paas nahi jane dungi! Aur wo mujhe bohot attached hogayi he bhaiya! Uska patha nahi par me tho nahi reh saktha uske bina! Bhagwan ne mujse 12 saal pehle meri bachi cheen li aur ab mujhe lagtha hai ki wo wapis de raha hai!" Madhavi says with tears striking down her face.
"Kalyan maan lega?" Ravi asks her gently
"Kyu nahi maanega? Wo koi rakshas lagtha hai kya tum logo ko??" Kalyan who was at the door and listened to the whole convo spoke out.
He doesn't come home for lunch and does it in the mess but after noor asked him not to go in the morning, he kept thinking about her puppy eyes and wanted to see her as early as possible. So he decided to have lunch at home. Which will cut off time from his lunch time due to the travel but he was willing to risk it to get a glance of his babygirl.
Kalyan goes towards madhavi and pats her gently wiping her tears.
"Mat ro madhu... ansh bilkul tum pe gaya hai! Maa aur bete ki patha nahi ye unlimited water system kaha hotha hai!" Kalyan jokes trying to ease the mood.
"Ab se hamari bachi he wo! Meri noor hai!!" Madhavi says while crying in kalyan's chest.
"Bilkul!! Hamari bachi he wo! Jo tum karna chahthe thi na shopping jana, uski baal banana, pyaari gudiya ki tarah ready karna, pyare pyare dresses pehna na sab karenge hum uske saath!" Kalyan says while kissing madhavi's forehead.
"Ha school bhi bhejo! Wo bichari ko school bhi dhang se nahi bejthe the wo log!" Ravi says
"Madhu.. par please tum padana mat! Fir bachi dar ke ghar se bhag jayegi?" Kalyan says and madhavi hits his chest.
