I am quite surprised by what my husband has written in his diary. It was upon his passing that this little book was given to me and I found many of his thoughts and experiences in his little manuscript. I shall hold on to it so that further generations may find some guidance if they are to acquire riches that we have secured. My dear husband of whom I greatly loved was truly a blessing despite his past and finally found peace in our Lord. It is something that both I and my father always wished upon him before we found ourselves in each others' arms and hope to do so for an eternity. He, my most beloved husband was a provider, protector and all things needed by a woman like myself but perhaps not in the ways that you would think.

For even with great finances he provided a loving and caring relationship to both myself and others and put himself in harms way to keep those near him safe. He knew that for one like I, gold and the like were not enough, and I could do without such things as I have had my own and protect my own physical self quite well. And he always found it fascinating that I allowed him to help in chores and things as well as investing in properties and others that only increased his wealth and mine. We my dear reader were a team and loved each other so until this day despite our bickering. If it were up to I, I would marry him again and again. If he were to hear me now, I would thank him for what he has done for both us and I and those near and far. For in his last years, he become something I would have never expected. And for that I am grateful for such a gift.

Goodbye My Best Friend!
