"And here they go again!" Maaz muttered to himself, it was going to be a long day!
"I don't want any drama, you are to finish the whole plate, no tantrums!" Maaz voiced out sternly. The younger two made a face looking at each other before turning to Maaz and shaking their head in denial.
"No!!"
Maaz heaved back a sigh and glared at them, "Pick up your plates and finish it within the next five minutes!"
"Bhaiya! Please make something else. I don't want to eat these tasteless and flavorless fruits." Mirza whined, with Majed nodding along.
"Ha bhaiya, maggi bna do!" Majed chimed in, snapping his fingers as if he got the world's best idea.
{Yh bhaiya, please make maggi}
"You want to eat maggi?!" Maaz gritted out, forcing a smile upon his lips. When both nodded at him eagerly, he walked off and the younger two started to practically bounce happily thinking their brother had gone to abide by their request.
"Alright! Now tell me who wants maggi?" Maaz questioned, entering the room with a wooden ruler. Mirza and Majed gulped looking at the taunting ruler that was present in their older brother's hand.
"Bhaiya, there is no need for that. I think you are highly mistaken, we asked for maggi not a ruler" Mirza pointed out, getting up and shifting behind the sofa, his bhaiyu following suit.
"Yeah, bhaiya that doesn't look like maggi! You know maggi comes in a yellow packet, it's basically noodles-"
"Bhaiyu, kujh jada hi horaha hai" Mirza cut him off when he saw a change in Maaz's expression.
{Bhaiyu, you're speaking too much now}
"No, I'm not mistaken. This thing in my hand will help you eat 'the flavorless and tasteless fruit'" Maaz indicated, bringing the ruler forward.
"Think again, are you both going to eat or do you need a taste of this ruler first?" his voice held a warning tone to it which made the younger two rethink their decision, but Maaz forgot he was dealing with two stubborn brats.
"No, we're not scared bhaiya! Please maggi bna do na. Pretty please!" Majed muttered pulling up an undeniably adorable pout, but Maaz stood his ground.
{Please make Maggie}
"Firstly, Majed you have no say in this! You are grounded and bhai told you, there will be no junk food for you throughout this whole week! If you continue to complain, I can make it two weeks."
Turning towards Mirza, "And Mirza don't even get me started with you! You think I don't know about the junk food you eat in college? Unless you want me to freeze your bank account, so you won't have any unhealthy food at all, you better pick up that plate and finish it up"
Majed's and Mirza's faces dropped at that. Maaz raised an eyebrow when Mirza began to whine, "But that's not fair bhaiya!"
"Tum dono ese nahi sudrogye na?!" With that Maaz reached behind the sofa, getting a hold of Mirza as he was the closest, and landed two warning strikes with a ruler on his bottom.
{Both of you won't listen to me, will you?}
Mirza whimpered, struggling to get out of his arms and Majed who was standing close, pulled Mirza behind him, "We'll eat, you don't have to behave like a Hitler 2.0!"
Maaz didn't budge from his place and pointed towards the plates, sitting on the table. Mirza took Majed's hand and moved to the sofa silently both starting to eat the fruits laid out on the plates before them.
