Mirza ignored him, wriggling his hands out of Murtasims firm grasp, "Stop!"
...
Mirza halted, tears continuing to flow down his cheeks. Murtasim sighed at the sight before him. Defeatedly, he hoisted Mirza up and placed him on his lap, "Shh...calm down baby"
Mirza laid his head on the elder's shoulder, his cries decreasing. He sniffled, which was followed by a small yet adorable hiccup.
Murtasim pulled the book in front of him with a pen and passed it to Mirza, "bss yeh last question finish karlo phir me kujh nahi kahunga. Look through the method properly and find the mistake"
{Finish this last question and then I won't say anything to you}
Mirza clasped the pen in his hand, beginning to carefully skim through the page. Halfway through the page, he found the silly mistake he made and instantly corrected it.
Murtasim ruffled his hair, "Good! Ek choti si mistake pure question ke upar impact kar deti hai"
{A small mistake impacts the whole question}
Mirza pushed away from him, getting off his lap, and quietly collected his book. Murtasim shook his head at the sulking child, "Mirza? Baby? Sweetheart? Baba ki jaan?"
Mirza side-eyed him but still didn't respond to him. Murtasim walked towards him and tried to pull him in a hug but Mirza weakly pushed him away, "Nahi karo mujhse baat!"
{Don't talk to me!}
"Ese kese nahi karu, mujhe to karni hai!"
{How could I not, I want to talk to you}
Mirza tried to move out of his reach but Murtasim easily picked him up, and spun both of them around, eliciting giggles from the younger one.
"Abhi bhi baat nahi karni?" Murtasim questioned mischievously.
{You still don't want to talk with me?}
Mirza denied it adorably, squealing when he was thrown on a sofa and attacked with tickles.
"Baba, s-stop...b-aba!" He laughed between the words, trying to push Murtasim's hand.
"First tell me, are you going to continue to be an angry kitty?" Murtasim teased, poking his hand in the ticklish spots, causing more laughter to erupt from his youngest.
"N-o...k-kitty! I-Im not angry!"
"Ok, then I'll let you go" Murtasim mumbled, placing the child in his lap.
Mirza slowly caught his breath, before accusing the eldest in the room, "You cheated!"
"Oh? Did I cheat?" Murtasim teased, leaning down to bop his nose with Mirza's, before biting his cheek playfully.
"Baba!!" Mirza whined, kicking his legs.
"Ji baba ki jaan!"
"You bit me!"
"Oh, did I? Then I'll take accountability for that and heal it," Murtasim remarked, kissing him on the spot he'd bit.
"Good?"
Mirza made a thinking face before shaking his head, "No!"
"Aww, man!" Murtasim chuckled yet placed another kiss on his cheek
"Now?"
Mirza nodded, leaning back to rest his head against Murtasim's shoulder. "Baba apne mujhe mara tha! Mujhe dard horaha hai"
