Everest's POV

I went back to the apartment since I was sent to the competition by Rye to observe not just the contestants but also the host and co-hosts.

I went inside our room and I saw Rye and Gavin waiting for me.

Rye: Took you long enough. Where have you been?

Everest: I was observing the contestants and I heard that it was about to end. There are two remaining which they're finalists.

Rye: Huh, I guess we should get our plan ready. This is the only way.

Gavin: Is this worth it though?

Rye: Don't question it dummy. This is why Everest is more useful than you.

Gavin: (Mean...)

Everest: (This is why we're forced to do this shit.)

Rye: What are you two waiting for? Let's go!

We all went out of the apartment with the things we needed, like a toolbox, a list of plans that Rye wrote with my help, and our weapons in case there were witnesses. We went to the competition set to do Rye's plan without getting caught.

End of Everest's POV

Aiden's POV

I went to the library to decode the note which had morse code. I went to find the books that are related to the code. But it's not easy since there are many books on many shelves...

Aiden: Great... how long will it take to find the right book...?

I decided to skim the book one by one to see if it's useful to decode the message. Plus, I wanted to know the answer to what I'm looking for.

While skimming in one of the books, I saw a paper fall out of the book. Who put the paper inside? I guess the librarian didn't care much about it.

I checked the paper which has a translator for the morse code. Whoever puts this paper inside the book is a live saver since I can get to translate it.

I went to find a seat before I could translate this paper. It won't take long, will it?

I started translating the paper by reading the code, which is easier since I got to decode one of the codes to reveal the message. I got used to this since I just need to remember the code for any letters to make my job easier.

After a few minutes of decoding the message, I got to read something to get more information.

(If you're not Ryker, please read this, the journal of my boss is inside my cabin. If you look anywhere in my cabin, read it if you want to know what happened. The context is in my diary.)

Aiden: (So that's his real name. No wonder they have different names to avoid being recognized. Clever bastards.)

I went to Penny's cabin to look for that journal. I'm close to figuring out picking one's side. At least I can take time to do so to help me know the consequences.

I went inside the cabin before looking around for that journal. I tried to be careful not to make a mess in this cabin that I needed to clean up afterward.

I looked under the bed, at the drawers, inside the cabinet, and inside the boxes. While checking inside the boxes, I found the journal which was black.

Aiden: Oh heck no! Whoever owns this notebook is probably Emo.

When I was about to read the journal, I heard footsteps. I decided to check what was going on, but first, I put back Penny's diary since I didn't want her to worry about her missing diary.
