Chapter 21: Disaster Strikes (3/4)

Capri's POV

We can't find something that unlocks the cell where everyone was in. Plus we looked everywhere which we didn't find anything except the set of buttons that are quite unfamiliar.

Capri: Are you kidding me? We can't find it everywhere...

Marcel: We have to continue searching... we need to save them first before finding Penny. Also, I hope that Pax and Bryon are safe.

Capri: Yeah...

Aiden: *mutters* I swear to god if Kenny calls me at this moment, I'll break my phone...

Marcel: Bruh. How are you going to call?

Aiden: *thinks for a moment* Nevermind.

Then they heard the phone ringing.

Capri: Oh shit! Turn off the call! We're going to get caught at this moment!

Aiden quickly ends the call before they heard the footsteps.

Marcel: We need to hide!!!

Aiden: But where!?

Marcel: Just hide wherever! We have to fight back if necessary!

We all hide in the lockers, under the table, or behind the door. It's very risky, but we have to do it if we want to survive to save everyone from those three.

While hiding, we heard footsteps. They went inside. I hope that one of us is not found by them. We tried to keep quiet so we wouldn't get caught by them. I don't know who exactly, since I'm hiding in a locker, I didn't see their faces, but I have to do what I have to since I don't know their faces.

But I heard the phone ringing... but it was not mine, since I put it silent. If it's not my phone, then whose phone is ringing? Then I heard some beatings which got me worried. I hope that those two are safe. I decided to wait since I shouldn't intervene.

After a bit of waiting, I heard someone dragging a body. But who knocks up the other? I decided to prepare the taser and my pocket knife before going out of the locker.

Instead of seeing one of my friends being dragged by Ryker or the other two, I saw him dragging a person's unconscious body.

Capri: *sighs in relief* I thought that you would be knocked out by them...

Aiden: What do you mean? I can fight, so it's easy for me to kick their ass.

Capri: Fair enough.

Marcel: *comes out from behind the door* Are we safe?

Aiden: Yep, I knocked them out before they got the chance to find one of us.

Marcel: Okay.

Aiden: Also I found this.

He gave us the manual that the person dropped.

Capri: A manual? What for?

Aiden: Figure it out yourselves.

Marcel: Okay then.

Marcel and I read the manual which was for the buttons. It taught us how to open the cells.

Capri: Whoever dropped this is an idiot.

Aiden: I agree. That guy is a pain in the ass that I have to defend myself while trying to ambush him.

Marcel: Wait, are you the same guy who killed a bear back then?

Aiden: That's me. Do you remember the tomahawk that I gave you? You need it.

Marcel: Oh that? Yeah, I got it with me. I don't know why, but my thoughts told me to bring it with me.

Capri: Damn. Let's rescue everyone before it's too late... We don't want to lose Penny as well along with everyone.

We both read the manual while he guards the door to make sure there are no intruders coming there to attack us. Then we observe the buttons before picking the most obvious button to free everyone in the cell.

We heard the cells opening and a few of them woke up from their sleep.

Pierce: *wakes up* Huh? What the...? Where the fuck are we?

Colton: This place is shitty...

Pierce: Like your job.

Colton: Oi! Shut up!

Capri: I don't know what's going on with you guys, but please escort everyone out of this place.

Colton: On it!!!

Pierce: I bet I can escort everyone faster than you!

Colton: Oh it's on motherfucker!

They used the trolley hand trucks to carry the contestants one by one. Wait, I regret this decision because I'm pretty sure that they're quite reckless. Why did I choose them out of all the people?

Capri: Oi you idiots! Be careful with everyone!

Marcel: Well shit.

Aiden: I'll make sure those two won't hurt everyone through their reckless actions. Good luck finding the three!

And he's going to watch over those two. Oh well, it's only me and Marcel who will find the three, since I'm pretty sure the ones who woke up went out of this place as well.

Capri: I guess we have to find Bryon, Pax, and Penny... I hope we come out alive. Heck, Camila will be worried about me...

Marcel: *sighs* Capri, don't worry about those things. If we help each other survive through hell, then we have our chances of surviving, and you'll get to see your girlfriend again.

Capri: Okay then...

We started looking for Bryon, Pax, and Penny by going to all the rooms one by one. Most of them are locked on the first floor, second floor, except for a few in a third floor.

Marcel: Which room should we look at first?

Capri: Let's look at the storage room.

Marcel: Are you sure? What if someone was there?

Capri: Then fight them. Simple as that. Heck, you have a tomahawk, while I only have a taser and a pocket knife.

Marcel: Fair enough...

When we were about to go inside the storage room, we heard a voice from a distance.

???: Help us!!!

Capri: Huh? We heard someone.

Marcel: What do they mean by "us" exactly?

Capri: Let's follow the voice.

We both followed the voices which came from an isolation room. Who put them there? What did they do?

Capri: Huh? Who are you guys?

???: We're the last batch about to be experimented on before this place is abandoned... Please help...

Capri: Oh shit, there are people here, Marcel, what do we do?

Marcel: Uh guys, do you know where the key was for this door?

??? 2: It's in the lobby I think. Man, I suck at recalling it.

Marcel: It's okay, that will do. We'll get you out of here.

We went downstairs for us to get the keys to rescue them who were stuck in an isolation room.
