When did we change
And when did we grow
In such ways
That every left of life now
Is this and hope beyond us
Our life is a classic story
And sometimes
Our biggest mistake
Is closing the book
Before the very end.
The script that this world
Of illusions
Choose for each one of us
It's nothing more than
Unreal wonders
That you must not
Stop exploring.
You have the madness
Of the world at your feet
And a piece of your soul
That was never yours
You are the master of reality
Who keeps our lands alive
And you still think
You are the shame
Left behind angry storms
Uncontrollable stealing away
And trying to kill the sun
But the truth is
It just grew
Inside of your heart
And now you are the light.
