Everyone had gathered in her dorm, everyone apart from Ga-in, Ga-in was told to come but she didn't bother showing.

She was supposed to tell them about her childhood.

She was supposed to tell them about her story.

Soo-Min hadn't told Namjoon much, she didn't know what Soo-Min had told Namjoon, but it was enough to make BTS -except for Ga-in- pester her for days until she finally agreed to tell them more.

To tell the the full story.

She hated talking about her emotions, about herself or her past, she hated the pity and sympathy people gave her, when she had lived with her father, expressing her emotions made her vulnerable, punishable. Namjoon usually respected her privacy, but he seemed really worried about her. He really wanted to know what was wrong, but not for himself, for her.

"Come on Unnie, if you don't tell them now, you won't tell them at all, and that won't end will." Soo-Min whispered in her ear.

"I know." She whispered back.

"Do you want me to start you off?" Soo-Min asked.

She shook her head as she sighed, wondering how to start.

"Before my Eomma died, my Appa was so loving and kind, we were all really happy together, me, Soo-Min, Ji-a, Eomma and Appa but then Eomma got lung cancer and died. My Appa found it hard to cope with her death and became abusive. He saw us as another reminder of Eomma and then an object, a thing, he'd refer to us as it and he'd only give us 1 meal every few days. When Appa met our stepmother, he gave us half a meal every two weeks. I was abused, sexually abused, raped, verbally abused for 7 years straight until we were kicked out when my stepmother wanted to move in." she said, the rest of the story speaking for itself.

"Don't leave parts out!" Soo-Min hissed.

"When I was 2 I was diagnosed with Social Anxiety, after therapy, it was like I never had Social Anxiety, it didn't affect me at all but after we were kicked out I realised it had come back, I was bullied for having Social Anxiety." She sighed.

Jisoo hugged her tight, she leaned into the hug, she didn't know how much she had needed a hug.

A simple action that meant the world to her.

Support and kindness but not in a pitiful way.

In a thoughtful way. A way that told her 'I'm here for you'.

"We're here for you." Jisoo whispered.

. . .

"You may begin." The math teacher announced after he finished handing out the exam papers.

She sighed as she put her head down, every minute felt like an eternity, each small noise and sound that would be impossible to hear otherwise, was instantly the loudest sound on earth.

Pencils scribbling on paper, stressed sighs, wind howling, the teacher's keyboard constantly clicking.

She had studied the most for maths, she was the least confident about her math skills with science being her best subject.

She knew most people didn't look over their work, just wanting to be finished already but she decided to look over her work, catching a few mistakes.

"Pencils down!" the teacher announced. "Hand up the papers, finished or not."

She sighed a sigh of relief as she handed her paper to the teacher, leaving the classroom as quick as possible.

Her next test was chemistry, she was quite good a chemistry, the chemistry teacher hated her though, she always looked for the flaws in everything she did.

She sat down for the chemistry test; she hadn't studied as much as she had wanted to but she was still confident that she'd get an A+.

What she had studied was useless, the chemistry test didn't mention anything she had studied.

Her head was spinning by the end of the test, she couldn't concentrate right, she had a pit feeling in her stomach, like something bad was going to happen.

She coughed into her sleeve, horrified to see red.

Blood.

Why would she cough up blood?

It didn't make sense.

She tried her best not to think about it, focusing on the test.

. . .

"Unnie!" Ji-a squealed, running towards her, tackling her with a hug when she felt a sharp pain in her chest.

"Are you okay Unnie?" Ji-a asked her.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She lied.

"Unnie!" Soo-Min exclaimed happily as she took her turn to hug her.

"So how did you do in your tests?" Soo-Min asked.

"We had math and chemistry today, it was easy enough." She answered.

"What's tomorrow?" Soo-Min asked.

"English and science." She answered. "How about you? When is your math test?"

"There are two parts, we had the first part today and the second part is the day after tomorrow." Soo-Min asked.

"That's good, you get a break before the second part." She said.

"Are you going to study now?" Ji-a groaned.

"Yeah." She admitted as she set her books on the table.

"Can we make gimbap first?" Soo-Min asked.

"Sure." She said.

"I love gimbap!" Ji-a squealed.

"Me too!" she said.

Gimbap and ramyeon were her favourite foods and Soo-Min knew that.

. . .

She coughed up blood for the fourth time that day, the only reasons she could be coughing up blood were all serious, her chest pain had only worsened.

"Unnie? Why did you cough blood?" Soo-Min asked quietly, sounding worried.

"I don't know." She answered softly.

"You are going to be okay right?" Soo-Min asked.

"Yeah, of course." She answered quickly.

"Promise me you'll go to the doctor soon." Soo-min said. "Please."

"Okay, fine, I will, I promise." She promised.
