She spent another month in hospital, she knew her mental health was bad, but it was just getting worse as Ji-a's cancer got worse, making her forget about her own cancer.
It didn't take Y/n as long as Y/n thought it would nor was it as hard as Y/n expected to learn to walk again.
She could walk and dance but not for too long.
Her and her sisters would spend as much time with Ji-a as they could, Ji-a knew she wasn't doing well, they would tell her that she'll be okay but, she knew, deep down, she wouldn't be.
She knew, deep down, Ji-a wouldn't make it.
Ji-a would do everything in her power to prevent the cancer, from doing treatments even when she was sick, tired and drained to eating certain foods and Ji-a always remembered to take her medication that would 'keep the cancer away', the medication helped but not as much as she had hoped.
She had gotten enrolled in a school, her Oppas had decided to send her to SOPA, her first day was the next day, she was to start in 11th grade with Jungkook.
Between her studies, training, taking care of her sisters, Ji-a's cancer and her cancer, she was constantly busy, she never had any time for herself, she didn't want any time for herself, making sure Ji-a lives.
She hadn't told anyone about her cancer, not even her sisters, as her cancer progressed and she became busier and busier with studies, training and interviews, it was harder and harder not to tell people.
No one had even the faintest idea that she had health issues, they were only aware of her social anxiety, ADHD, APD and such.
She was on stage, her first concert after getting discharged from the hospital, they were walking off the stage, joking around as she sat down on the nearest seat.
"Y/n!" a staff member called out.
She got up, walking towards the woman.
"Ji-a is not doing well, she wants you. She's in the hospital." The woman told her.
. . .
"Eonni!" Ji-a called out excitedly as she sat up from her hospital bed as she entered the room.
They talked for ages, just her, Soo-min and Ji-a, it felt like just a few short minutes, but it had really been two hours.
"Soo-Min, Jisoo is looking for you." A doctor told them.
"Is Ji-a okay?" she asked the doctor as soon as Soo-Min left.
The doctor mouthed 'say your goodbye' and she knew what the doctor meant.
Ji-a was taking her last breathes, Ji-a was dying.
"I'm dying, aren't I?" Ji-a asked.
"Yeah. I'm sorry. I should've done so much more. You deserved a longer, better, happier life." She said as she looked at Ji-a, with sorrow in her eyes.
"There's nothing you can do, it's okay, I'm happy." Ji-a said. "But, I failed you."
"No, no, I failed you." She said.
"I failed you. I promised you I would always try my hardest and never give up but, I didn't always give it 100%, there was a chemo session or two I didn't tell you about so I wouldn't have to go, but, if I had gone, I would've lived." Ji-a said.
"No one was expecting you to go to every singe chemo session, it takes a lot out of you, trust me, I know." She said. "Want to know a secret no one else knows?"
