I woke up to find my head on someone's shoulder. Rubbing my eyes, I looked over to see Aris still dead asleep, dry tears staining his face. That makes sense. The sun's not even up yet. Not the fact that he's been crying though. It's not that it's weird to cry in these circumstances, but right after our conversation is just a little bit off-putting I guess
I've never been a good sleeper. I don't know why. Maybe there is no why. It doesn't truly matter. The point is I have trouble sleeping and staying asleep, and that's all there is to it.
Moving my head completely off of him, I scooted away. Deciding to lean against the actual rock, I stretched my legs out as I sighed.
This is an interesting experience. Running through a desert with dangerous creatures while me, my friends, and Aris slowly lose our sanity until it could kill us.
Is he my friend? I mean it seems fair to assume that, right?
Yeah. He's probably my friend now. I'm still going to be careful around him though. While silence isn't an admittance of guilt, him not having a thing to say about my suspicions is strange.
I don't know. It's weird. He's weird. Everything is weird.
I wonder if that's me or the Flare talking? I wonder if we have met? I wonder if we'll all make it to the end of this? I wonder if Teresa is okay?
So many questions that I don't have the answers to. I guess I just have to sit down and enjoy the show then, like the rest of these shanks.

I dozed off every now and then throughout the night but didn't really sleep. Not by choice. It's just how I am. Once again, plain and simple.
I was up bright and early, before he was awake. Not feeling like being interrogated, I sat on top of the rock, watching as everyone else slowly awoke.
"Any luck?"Minho sighed as he waited with me.
"Some,"I answered, already knowing what he was referring to. He's been the victim of discovering me in the Maproom in the dead of night, attempting to find something different that would get us out. That or I was running in circles around the Deadhead.
"It's better than none,"He accepted.
"Yeah. You sleep okay?"
"In these circumstances, it'd be ridiculous not to,"He deadpanned.
"Sounds about right."
"Have you seen that shank that nobody trusts?"
"Yep. He's-"
"I'm right here,"Aris grumbled, shifting back and forth in his spot as he stood a good three feet away from him.
"Oh. Nice to see you're alive,"He remarked, giving a shrug before going to get everyone else up.
"I don't think he meant that,"He muttered, crossing his arms over his chest.
"He'll warm up to you,"I assured him.
"Doubt it."
"Don't kill anyone, and it will probably be fine."
"Probably?"
"Yes. Probably,"I repeated.
"And if-"
"It's time to get moving!"Minho shouted.
"You wanna share a sheet later today?"I offered.
His eyes traveled somewhere else in the group. Despite the way I tried to spot who he looked back at me just as fast.
"Yeah. Sure,"He nodded.
Jumping down, I shoved the supplies into my jacket and handed him the sheet for him to hold until it got late enough. Doing what I had, he put it inside his jacket. From there, we waited until everyone found their pair for later or got lucky enough to be alone. The point is everyone was done, and it was back to moving.
