"So... your home economist lives with you?"
Renjun looked over his shoulder and noticed the omega neighbor, Joonwoo, drawing closer. They didn't speak for almost a week but the fact that the neighbor approached him meant he was interested in them and wanted to make friends. At least, Renjun hoped so. He didn't want people avoiding them just because they were rich.
"Oh, hello," he smiled and waved, but continued taking a box out of Jeno's car. "He lived with us before too. We're very much used to it."
"Isn't the house too small now? For three people..." the omega raised his eyebrow.
Renjun didn't like how it sounded. Three people was a fine number for him. He was so used to Jeno and Jaemin
"No, not really," he shrugged his shoulders and closed the door with his hips. "We don't think it's practical for him to leave and come each day. Imagine the expenses! Also, there are no other places for betas to stay. We don't want him to live in a further district. It would affect his work."
"But the government... Did they let him be with you?"
"After a round of discussion, yes, they let him stay with us. He's qualified for this job and knows us too much to leave."
"You must be right," the omega rocked his head but still seemed unsure.
"I have a question."
His eyes brightened.
"Sure. Go on."
"The houses are identical from the outside. Is it the same on the inside as well?" he asked in curiosity.
"Yes, as much as I know. All of us have the same layout."
The layout was the same but the choice of rooms, furniture, and decorations were totally different. That day Renjun succeeded in going to Joonwoo's house and learned the differences between the houses. All the things Jeno brought from their last house made their new one look gothic-luxurious even when it was a modern type of house. Theirs weren't minimalistic with all those gothic things. Joonwoo's and his alpha's were. They kept the same furniture and didn't buy anything new.
In exchange, the neighbor omega also wanted to check their house. Renjun brought him without warning the other two and caused a bit of trouble. Jeno walked into the room bare-chested, so he was embarrassed to the core but tried brushing off and dominated while continuing walking like this. Jaemin watched TV, so when he heard the fuss, he turned everything off and pretended to clean the dust.
Renjun and Joonwoo had a great time drinking lemonade and checking the furniture. The neighbor liked it but didn't seem jealous as he had enough confidence in his own house. Because of their talks, they were most likely becoming friends which helped Renjun to go through the boredom. There was nothing else to do in this house as it was way smaller in size so Jaemin was the one taking care of the chores. Not to mention it was a hot summer and barely anything was getting done. Jeno and Jaemin couldn't deal with the rest of the stuff they brought as they were dripping in sweat just as they lifted or carried something.
The nights were the worst. The three had gaps between them, no one wanted to hug or play around as the temperature of body proximity made everyone mad. They didn't have an air conditioner and neither did they buy a fan yet. Considering their wealth, they were quite passive about buying new things. Mainly because Jeno did all the purchasing and he didn't really like new things as much as he adored old ones. Lately, he was too much of a homebody to go somewhere anyway.
Because of the temperature, Renjun had changed from pajamas to a white tank top and black satin shorts. The fabrics were usually glued to his skin because of sweat and other body fluids. The latter happened because the two guys slept shirtless. While lying on his back, the omega could see Jaemin's broad back and Jeno's toned stomach. These things made the omega feel like he was sinning.
