Lily wasn't getting any better. In fact. She was getting worse and worse as the days passed by.

Everyone was worried about her.

Especially Thomas.

The boy had grown to like the blonde-haired girl, and now she was just shutting everyone out.

She hadn't eaten anything since the night her father had slapped her.

And when she had defended his name to Lucas that same night saying that 'it was just a spur of the moment' thing.

It wasn't.

Lily felt like shit.

Her hair was messy, her eyes were red and puffy from crying.

She hadn't cried in a while, though.

She just felt numb, numb to everything, to the good things, and bad things.

She didn't feel anything.

Maybe that was a sign of dying.

Thomas had come over last night, and he sat at her window to check if she was okay, though this time she let him in.

"Why do you keep coming over?" she snapped at him.

"I'm just checking on you, Lil," he said, in a whisper to not wake anyone up from their deep slumber.

"Well stop, I don't want to see or talk to anyone," she replied. "Now get out."

"What?"

"Get out."

"Fine fine, are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine, Thomas, get out."

"Okay bye, we all miss you. Please come back to school soon."

"Sure whatever."

Thomas hadn't heard from her ever since.

The blonde girl just wanted it to all end.

She thought back to a week ago, when she had felt the exact same.

When she had filled the bathtub.

She thought about how the only thing that let her stay was that people might miss her.

Maybe they wouldn't.

They would get over it anyway right?

When my life is taken by my own hand, will the gifts at my grave be better than the appreciation i should have been given?"

No one would care after a few months.

Lily sighed. She got up and went to the bathroom, filling the bathtub with water.

Would anyone really miss me? She thought to herself as she got into the bathtub.

Slowly, she put her head under the water.

Breathing it all in.

She felt her lungs fill with water, but she didn't care anymore.

It felt good. Maybe that's what dying felt like?

She didn't feel anything anymore. Her father would be happy, her mom would be sad for a few days then get over it.

Lucas would miss her then get over it, just like everyone else would.

Everyone died anyways, they'll all die eventually.

Maybe lily would just die a little earlier than them.

Her breath was becoming slower.

And soon, she felt her entire world go black.

Not breathing.

Nothing.
