Chapter 28: In The Party

"Still people like to listen his songs."

I was shocked and turned around to see that person and it was..."Maya!"
I was quite surprised by her sudden entry and... and had lost in her beauty, I mean she was looking absolutely stunning.

As for that annoying woman, she left the place with a frown on her face. I think she understood that no matter how skilled she is in sarcasm, no one can stand in front of Maya's attitude.

I went to Maya and was about to say something to her but, "no need to thank me." She said. I sighed and said, "I was going to say you look gorgeous." I actually wanted to thank her but I didn't want to make a fool of myself.

"O... Th(anks)..." She was going to say that but I stopped her saying, "no need to thank me." She looked at me with a scowl on her face and I smirked.

"By the way, where is Dr Monica? She didn't come?" I asked.

"There" she said pointing to her left and I turned and saw that she was talking to Kyle, to be honest, he was the one who was constantly gabbing and laughing like stupid.

"This brat" I whispered to myself.

As soon as I made eye contact with him, he came towards us and said, "hey Mayson, let me introduce you to my new friend."Do you remember that lady I had coffee with, that lady I told you about?”

"So it's she?" I asked.

"Yeah it's her and her name is..." Before he could speak I said, "hello Dr Stewart nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too Mr Forbes and thanks for inviting us." She said and smiled.

"Wait! What? You guys know eachother?" Kyle asked.

"She is the psychiatrist I told you about." I said.

"Woah that's great! We've been talking for like an hour but why haven't you told me yet?" Kyle asked her.

"An hour! I think we have just met." She said.

"Ahem...I think only you were the one talking like an hour, that is why the other person standing in front of you did not get any chance to speak." I said and then she started laughing and said, "that's all right Mr Forbes I didn't know that this cute looking guy is your manager."

"Cute looking guy!" I said and smirked and Kyle started blushing.

"By the way, I also didn't know that Maya is your sister." I said with a frown on my face.

"Oh, I'm sorry Mr Forbes, I'm quite insecure about my sister and I rarely talk about my family to anyone." She said.

"Not a problem Dr Stewart, I understand." I said, giving a reassuring smile.

"Anyways you guys enjoy, let me just check out others" I said and winked at Kyle.

Where did she go? She was here just before Kyle and Monica came. I was thinking while roaming around the entire hall when suddenly I heard someone's voice, "I said fuck off."

As soon as I turned around, I started fuming in anger. I saw that Maya was standing a little distance away from me and a drunk guy was holding her wrist kind of trying to force himself on her and she was seething with anger as if she would tear him to pieces.

(Maya's POV)

My sister and Kyle approached to us and then they all started talking. I was feeling very uncomfortable, actually the problem was my dress. It was a bit tight and I needed to adjust it so I left from there. I had to go to the restroom but I didn't know whom to ask, all the people were strangers to me so I decided to find it myself. I had just reached the back of the hall which was a little empty when suddenly someone placed a hand on my shoulder saying, "hey beautiful" It was a guy who was drunk as hell.

I shoved his hand saying, "behave."

He started laughing like an idiot and said, "woah! woah! so much anger huh!"

I ignored him and moved ahead but then he blocked my way and said, "Hey! hey! what's the hurry?"

I glared at him and said, "fuck off!"

"Aww... c'mon. Anger doesn't suit on your face, beauty." He said.

"I said fuck off!" I said giving him a death glare but instead of going away from there, he held my wrist and my blood started boiling in anger but before I could tear him to pieces, someone ripped that idiot's grip off my wrist and said, "Don't even dare!"

I turned and saw Mayson standing in front of me with a dangerous anger on his face. I was shocked to see this because I had never seen him so angry before. He always looked cute like Pikachu when he got angry but this time I see a different side of him. His anger was so terrible that the drunkard immediately ran away from there.

As soon as that guy left, his face softened and I wondered how a person could possess such duality. Just a second ago he was an angry wolf and now is completely calm.

"Are you alright?" He asked and I nodded yes.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I was looking for the restroom." I said feeling awkward.

"Then why didn't you asked someone?" He asked.

"I don't know anybody here." I said.

"You should have asked me then." He said.

"That's quite awkward." I mumbled.

"O... follow me." He said and started walking and I followed him.

While I was inside the restroom, he was waiting for me outside and I found this action kinda cute. After I fixed my dress we came back to the main party area where everyone was having fun.

Everyone is having fun and I am getting bored here. Mayson is busy entertaining the guests and even my sister is glued to Kyle. Duh! I was thinking when I bumped into someone..."oh I'm sorry." She said and walked away but I felt something was wrong. I felt strange. I could sense something inhuman about her. "Who was she?" I whispered to myself and started following her. She end up hugging a guy and I think that was her boyfriend. They both were talking and laughing and when she turned my breath stopped seeing her face because I saw something which was impossible to believe. "Aurora!"
