Cuddle Therapy

After Blitz finished brushing your hair he gently set the brush aside, hugging you from behind and nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck softly. You leaned back into him, closing your eyes. He smiled and whispered into your neck.

"Cuddles...?"

You immediately nodded. You loved his cuddles, you lay down and he cuddled you from behind, him the big spoon and you the little. Your tail snaked around his waist, and he held you close. You could feel his heart pounding against your back, and you intertwined your fingers with his. After a while, you shifted, turning around and cuddling him front to front, your head on his chest and legs around his waist like a koala. Hi clawed fingers ran through your hair soothingly, and he planted soothing kisses on your head and face. You giggled softly, sighing in content and clinging to him. He smiled softly.

"There's that little giggle I love hearing..."

You simply smiled softly and looked up at him lovingly. He frowned softly when he saw the exhaustion in your eyes but then when you smiled so lovingly, he couldn't help but smile softly back. You cupped his cheeks, tracing the apples of his cheeks with your thumbs and kissed him gently between the eyes. He chuckled softly and mumbled.

"I love you darling..."

You smiled softly, though he knew you wouldn't be able to say it back because your trauma wouldn't let you speak. The smile on your face faltered. You loved him very very deeply, and yet...you physically could not return the verbal sentiment. He saw the distress in your eyes.

"Hey...hey, it's okay, baby.....I know you love me too...and I know you can't speak right now........i understand, Y/N.......dont ever worry about it okay...? You've been through so much....and those bastards will pay for what they did to you....but for now just focus on healing.....can you do that for me...?"

You paused, then nodded faintly. You still felt bad, but his reassurance was much appreciated. You leaned forward and hugged him again, your tail wrapped around his waist once again, and you buried your face in his neck, sighing deeply. It was these moments that made you fall in love with him even more.
