Field trip pt. 2 (M)

“Saan ka galing kagabi?” Tanong ni Suzy sa akin nang makarating kami sa isang restaurant.

Umaga na kasi ako nung nakaalis sa hotel room ni Ms. Kim, pero umalis ako nang walang nakakakita kanina.

Flashback

Nagising ako na nakayakap pa rin siya sa akin, tinignan ko yung oras and it's already 5 a.m exactly. Ginising ko siya nang dahan-dahan para mag-paalam

“I have to go now” bulong ko sakaniya.

“Okay” Sabi niya habang nakapikit ang mga mata.

“Good morning” Bati ko at saka hinalikan siya noo. “I'll see you later, right?” Now she's looking at me without emotion. Kakagising niya lang and she have sleepy eyes.

“Yes, tell your groups that we have a team building later. I'll be the leader of your group” Hindi ko alam na may team building pala pero ang buong alam ko si Ms. Tzuyu ang mag le-lead sa amin dahil ang kasama ni Ms. Kim ay Ms. Wendy mamaya.

“I thought it was Ms. Tzuyu”

“Don't mention her name here”

“Sorry” I kissed her again but this time on her lips.

End of flashback

I sit at a table with Seulgi, Somi, Rosé, and my cousin, Suzy. Despite the lively atmosphere, my mind is still on the previous night.

Somi grins mischievously. "Did someone have a secret midnight adventure?"

I laugh lightly. "Something like that. Just needed some fresh air.”

Suzy, who has been quietly observing me, raises an eyebrow. "You were out pretty late, Lisa. Is everything okay?"

I nod, trying to sound casual. "Yeah, I just went for a walk on the beach. It was really peaceful."

Rosé looks at me with wide eyes. "All by yourself?"

"Yeah," I reply. "It was nice to have some time to think." Suzy nods, though she still looks concerned.

"Just be careful next time, Lisa. It's not always safe to be out alone at night."

"I know," I assure her. "I'll be more careful next time." Dumating na yung order namin, mabuti na lang nakatakas ako sa mga tanong nila.

“Volleyball kaya tayo?" Seulgi asks.

“Ang init, mamaya may team building pa tayo” Sabi ni Somi.

“Eh, mamaya pa naman 'yun, ngayong araw tayo mag v-volleyball” Pinilit ni Seulgi na mag volleyball kami kasama sila Ms. Wendy, pero hindi kami pumayag. At talagang hindi rin papayag si Ms. Wendy sa init ba naman sa labas ngayon.

As we finish our meal and prepare to leave the restaurant, I catch a glimpse of Ms. Kim entering together with Ms. Wendy and Ms. Bae. Our eyes meet briefly, and she gives me a small, discreet smile. My heart skips a beat, and I feel a rush of warmth.

“Oh, nandito rin pala sila Ms. Kim” Aalis na sana kami pero lumapit sila sa amin. “P'wede ba kaming umupo dito?” Tanong ni Ms. Wendy.
