Rajeev's POV

It's almost a week since Riya's incident, and I can see that Vikram has become depressed because of the guilt he carries for punishing her for things she didn't do. Piyush and I have tried to cheer him up, but it's all been in vain.

Vikram continuously asks Rupali to call the hospital to check on Riya's health, and I can tell that this has pissed Rupali off a lot. She doesn't want Vikram to care for any woman except for her. Despite Piyush teasing her, saying that she has fallen in love with Vikram, Rupali just ignores it, insisting that's not the case. Anyone could see that Rupali is head over heels for Vikram, but Rupali being Rupali, she isn't ready to accept her feelings for him. So we decided to drop the topic.

I've tried talking to Vikram about it, but whenever I mention Rupali's name, he shuts me up, saying he doesn't want to hear anything about her. I agree that Rupali treated Riya in the most horrible way, which landed her in the hospital, but there's more to this situation than meets the eye.

"Vikram, you can't keep blaming yourself forever," I said, sitting down next to him. "What's done is done. We need to focus on making things right."

Vikram stared at the floor, his shoulders slumped. "I can't believe I let this happen, Rajeev. I hurt an innocent girl. How can I ever make that right?"

"You already took the first step by ensuring Riya got to the hospital. Now, you need to keep moving forward. Dwelling on the past won't change anything," I advised, trying to offer some comfort.

He sighed deeply. "I know, but it's hard to move on when I see her family suffering because of my actions."

Just then, Rupali entered the room, looking visibly annoyed. "Vikram, I've checked on Riya's condition again. She's stable, but she hasn't regained consciousness yet," she reported her tone curt.

"Thank you, Rupali," Vikram said quietly, avoiding eye contact.

Rupali crossed her arms, clearly frustrated. "You need to stop obsessing over this, Vikram. You're not helping anyone by driving yourself crazy."

Piyush, sensing the tension, tried to lighten the mood. "Come on, Rupali. We all know why you're so invested in this. Just admit it, you care about him."

Rupali shot him a glare. "That's not the point here, Piyush."

I stepped in, trying to defuse the situation. "We all need to work together to get through this. Fighting among ourselves won't help Riya or any of us."

Vikram finally looked up, his eyes filled with determination. "You're right.

Vikram finally looked up, his eyes filled with determination. "You're right. It's time for the real culprit, Priya, to suffer for making Riya go through hell. Rupali, bring that traitor Priya to our company. Rajeev, call the police on her, and Piyush, arrange a press meeting."

Rupali nodded, her expression steely. "Consider it done," she said, heading out to fetch Priya.

Rajeev pulled out his phone and started dialing the police. "I'll make sure they know exactly what's going on," he assured.

Piyush, always quick on his feet, began coordinating the press meeting. "I'll get everything set up. This is going to be big news, and the world needs to know not to mess with us."

Vikram turned to me, his eyes burning with resolve. "We're going to make sure everyone knows what Priya did. She won't get away with this."

As the preparations got underway, there was a palpable shift in the atmosphere. The weight of guilt and frustration began to lift, replaced by a shared sense of purpose.

Rupali soon returned with Priya, who looked terrified and defiant. "You can't do this to me," Priya protested, but her voice wavered.

Vikram stepped forward, his expression cold and unforgiving. "You brought this on yourself, Priya. Now, you'll face the consequences."

Rajeev finished his call with the police and nodded. "They're on their way."

Piyush came back into the room, his phone still in hand. "The press meeting is scheduled for later this afternoon."

Later the police arrived, and Vikram handed Priya over to them, providing all the evidence we had gathered. "This is the person responsible for Riya's condition," he stated firmly.

The officers took Priya into custody, and I could see the fear in her eyes. She knew her time was up.

With Priya now in the hands of the authorities and the press meeting set to reveal the truth to the world, we had taken significant steps toward justice. Now, all we could do was wait and hope that Riya would regain consciousness soon, knowing that we had done everything in our power to make things right.

Later that afternoon, we gathered for the press meeting. The room was filled with reporters and cameras, all eager to hear the story. Piyush stood at the podium, his presence commanding attention.

"Thank you all for coming," he began. "Today, we are here to shed light on a tragic incident that has affected Mehta's business. You might have heard that the past two weeks have been fraught with crisis for Up View. This happened because crucial company information was leaked to our rivals by a spy named Priya, who was sent by them."

Vikram stepped forward, taking a deep breath before continuing. "As Piyush mentioned, this situation led my company to face huge losses and left me on the verge of losing everything I had built. While trying to track down the culprit, I discovered that Priya, in a desperate bid to save herself, framed my loyal employee Riya. Because of this, Riya went missing and is now in the hospital due to Priya's actions."

He paused, his face showing a mix of regret and determination. "I had to lie about Riya's disappearance to protect the reputation of the empire I built. Despite knowing the truth, I chose not to reveal it publicly, fearing it would further tarnish the company's image. However, the situation with Riya has been heart-wrenching, and we need to hold Priya accountable for her actions."

The press conference continued, with reporters asking questions and us providing answers. The weight of the situation was heavy, and I was resolute in keeping Riya's condition as protected as possible, knowing that revealing too much could endanger her further.

As we left the press conference, I felt a sense of relief. We had taken significant steps to bring attention to the issue and to hold Priya accountable. The press now had the full story, and the public would be aware of the situation.

Now, all we could do was wait for Riya to wake up, hoping she would recover and that justice would be served. The road ahead was still uncertain, but we were united in our support for her and in our determination to see this through.
