Vijay's POV

I was with Riya the whole time, holding her hand to make her feel that her Bhai was with her and she was not alone. Knowing how much she loved music, I decided to turn on the TV. As I browsed through the channels, I was shocked to see a news segment flashing the name of the company Up View, where Riya worked, along with her name.

The reality struck me like lightning. I learned that my sister Riya was suffering because a spy framed her for leaking the company's information, leading to her kidnapping by a rival company called Bliss Tech. As I continued watching, the company's CEO, Mr. Vikram Mehta, stated that they had identified the real culprit, Priya, who was now in police custody. He promised to seek justice for Riya and vowed to bring down Bliss Tech.

Anger boiled my blood, and I was on the verge of breaking something when I felt a light squeeze on my hand. Turning to Riya, I saw that her vitals were improving. I leaned closer and said, "Riya, it's Bhai. Can you hear me?" She squeezed my hand again, signalling that she could.

Seeing her try to open her eyes, I immediately pressed the switch to alert the nurses and doctors. Within minutes, nurses and Maa rushed into the room to check on Riya. Maa gently asked me to step aside so she could be closer to Riya and assess her condition.

Maa went near her and spoke with her cold voice, "Ms. Riya, can you hear me? If you can, please squeeze my hand." I watched as Riya squeezed Maa's hand, just as she had squeezed mine. Sensing that the bright lights were preventing Riya from opening her eyes, Maa instructed the nurses to dim the lights.

Maa continued speaking softly to Riya, "Ms. Riya, try opening your eyes gently." Slowly, Riya managed to open her eyes and looked at Maa, a tear rolling down her cheek. "Can you try to talk, Ms. Riya?" Maa asked, but Riya did not respond. "Squeeze my hand if you don't feel like talking," Maa said, and Riya squeezed her hand again.

I was shocked by this and when Maa came towards me after checking Riya, I immediately asked, "What is the problem ?"

Maa replied, "Mr. Vijay, this is very common in cases like this. I think your sister has developed trauma from the incident. It will take some time for her to recover fully. For a speedy recovery, I can recommend some good psychiatrists."

Processing everything Maa said, I looked at Riya and decided that I wanted her to take her time to heal. "Thank you, doctor. If we need one, I will contact you," I told Maa. She nodded and left the room.

I immediately called Paa, Mauli, and Nandhini to inform them that Riya had regained consciousness.

After informing them, I walked back to Riya, who looked pale and showed no emotions on her face. A sharp pain erupted in my heart seeing her like this. Unsure of what to say, I gently placed my hand on hers and squeezed it a little. "I'm here, Baacha. You are not alone," I said softly. Riya remained silent, and I decided not to push further, opting instead to sit quietly by her side.

About an hour later, the door opened, revealing Paa, Meenu, Aryan, Mauli, and Nandhini running towards us. I stood up from my stool and made room for Paa to sit down. He gently caressed Riya's face, tears streaming down his cheeks. "I'm sorry, Beta. Paa is really ashamed for failing to protect you," he said, his voice breaking.

Riya touched Paa's hand and silently cried. Paa wiped her tears and gently asked, "What happened that day, Riya? Where were you and who did this to you?"

The moment these questions left Paa's mouth, Riya's eyes widened in fear. She pushed Paa's hand away, backed herself against the headboard, and buried her face in her legs, shivering like a leaf. Recognizing the signs of trauma, I immediately called the nurse. She arrived promptly and, seeing Riya's distressed state, cautiously administered a sedative to calm her down.

Once Riya was sedated and her breathing returned to normal, she became unconscious again. The nurse reassured us that this was a typical response for someone who had been through such a traumatic experience. She recommended that we refrain from asking Riya about the incident until she was more stable and had received some professional help.

Paa looked visibly shaken. "What trauma, Vijay? What is happening to her?" he asked, his voice filled with regret and confusion.

Seeing Riya unconscious, I realized it was time to explain everything to the family. I took a deep breath and began. "Paa, everyone, there's a lot you need to know. Riya was framed by a spy who infiltrated her company, Up View. This person leaked crucial information to their rivals, Bliss Tech. To save herself, the spy, Priya, framed Riya as the culprit.

"When the truth started to come out, Riya was kidnapped by Bliss Tech. They subjected her to horrible things, trying to cover their tracks and silence her. Vikram Mehta, the CEO of Up View, discovered the real culprit and handed Priya over to the police. He's promised to bring Bliss Tech down for what they've done."

The room fell silent as everyone processed the information. Tears filled Meenu's eyes, and Aryan clenched his fists in anger. Mauli and Nandhini looked horrified, their hands covering their mouths in shock.

Paa sank into a chair, his face a mix of sorrow and anger. "How could this happen? How could they do this to her?"

"It's unbelievable," Mauli said softly. "I can't imagine what she went through."

"Riya needs our support more than ever," Nandhini added. "We need to be strong for her."

I nodded. "Yes, she does. The nurse mentioned that it's common for someone who has experienced such trauma to have trouble speaking or reliving the events. We need to be patient and let her heal at her own pace. We should also consider getting professional help for her, as the nurse suggested."

Paa and everyone nodded their heads in agreement. "We'll make sure she gets the best care possible," Paa said firmly.

Just then, the nurse returned, her expression calm and reassuring. "You can take Riya home after a week," she said, handing us a card. "This is the contact information for a well-known psychiatrist who specializes in trauma cases. I recommend you reach out to them to help Riya with her recovery."

Paa took the card, glancing at it before looking back at Riya. "Thank you," he said to the nurse, his voice filled with gratitude.

As the nurse left, I felt a mixture of relief and anxiety. The thought of taking Riya home was comforting, but I also knew the journey ahead would be challenging.
