Tim + Lucy Oneshots

Story Number 7: Oops I did it again

A/N: the title is matching what Tim did to Lucy or more appropriately what he planted in Lucy!

Chapter 1:

Tim Bradford and Lucy Chen were thrilled with the arrival of their first child, Mila. She had brought so much joy into their lives. But when Lucy discovered she was pregnant again, she felt a mix of excitement and anxiety. How would their little Mila, just four years old, react to the news?

Lucy decided to make the announcement in a special way. She wanted Tim to be a part of the surprise. As Tim walked through the door one evening, he noticed a small box on the kitchen table, decorated with a big bow. Inside was a tiny pair of baby shoes and a note that read, "Coming soon: Baby Bradford #2."

Tim's eyes widened with delight as he picked up the note. He turned to Lucy, who was standing by the doorway with a hopeful smile. "Are you serious?" he asked, his voice filled with awe and joy. "We're having another baby?"

Lucy nodded, her eyes sparkling. "Yes, Tim. We're going to be a family of four!"

Tim's face lit up, and he swept Lucy into a jubilant hug. "This is amazing! I'm so excited!"

Lucy beamed, but a trace of worry lingered in her eyes. "I hope Mila will be excited too. I'm a bit worried about how she'll react."

Chapter 2:

A few days later, Tim and Lucy decided it was time to tell Mila about her new sibling. They found her in the living room, surrounded by her favorite toys. Mila was deeply engrossed in playing with her dolls, her tiny hands carefully arranging them in a circle.

"Hey, Mila," Tim said, kneeling down beside her. "We've got some exciting news for you."

Mila looked up from her toys, her big brown eyes filled with curiosity. "What's the news, Daddy?"

Lucy sat down next to Mila, holding her hand gently. "Mila, remember how much you love being our special girl?"

Mila nodded vigorously. "I'm special! Mommy and Daddy love me lots!"

"Well," Lucy continued, her voice soft and gentle, "we're going to have a new baby in the family. You're going to be a big sister!"

Mila's eyes grew wide, and her smile slowly faded. "A new baby?" she asked, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "why?"

Tim knelt closer, trying to reassure her. "We're going to have another baby because our family is growing. We'll all have more love to share."

Mila's lower lip quivered, and her eyes filled with tears. "You love the new baby more than me?."

Lucy's heart sank. "Oh, Mila, no. We'll always love you just the same. You'll always be our special girl. The new baby doesn't mean we love you any less."

Mila's tears spilled over, and she shook her head. "No! I don't want a new baby! Daddy is going to only play with new baby not me!"

Tim and Lucy exchanged a worried glance, realizing the depth of Mila's fears. "Mila," Tim said softly, "I promise, having a new baby doesn't change how much we love you. You'll always be our first little girl. You'll get to help with the baby and be the best big sister ever. And I will still play with you."

But Mila wasn't convinced. She threw her favorite doll to the floor and ran to her room, slamming the door behind her. Tim and Lucy stood in stunned silence, their hearts heavy with the weight of their daughter's distress.
