The sun dipped low over Los Angeles, casting a golden glow over the outdoor wedding venue. String lights twinkled above the rows of white chairs, and an aisle lined with delicate white roses led to a wooden arch draped in soft fabric. The air was filled with the scent of fresh flowers and the soft hum of music. It was finally happening—Lucy Chen and Tim Bradford were getting married.

Lucy stood in a private room inside the venue, taking a deep breath as she looked at herself in the mirror. Her dress was simple yet elegant, hugging her figure perfectly before flowing down into a soft train. Her dark hair was styled in a half-up, half-down look, and the small pearl earrings Tim had given her as an anniversary gift sparkled.

"You okay?" Nyla Harper asked, peeking her head into the room.

Lucy turned, a nervous but excited smile on her face. "Yeah. I just... I can't believe we're finally here."

Nyla smirked. "Well, believe it, because Tim's out there looking like he's going to lose it if you don't walk down that aisle soon."

Angela Lopez stepped inside next, holding baby Jack on her hip. "You should see him. He's pacing. Even Grey had to tell him to relax."

Lucy laughed, imagining Tim's usual brooding expression mixed with nervous energy. "That sounds about right."

Wesley entered, nodding approvingly. "You look stunning, Lucy. Tim is a lucky man."

Lucy blushed. "Thank you, Wesley."

"Alright," Nyla said, clapping her hands. "Let's get you married."

Outside, at the altar...

Tim Bradford adjusted his tie for the millionth time. His heart was pounding in a way he hadn't felt since the academy. This was different. Bigger.

"You keep messing with that, and Lucy's going to think you regret this," John Nolan teased, standing beside him as one of his groomsmen.

Tim shot him a look. "Not a chance."

Aaron Thorsen chuckled. "Man, I've never seen you like this. You're actually nervous."

Grey, who was officiating the ceremony, smirked. "I've known Bradford for years, and I can confirm this is the most rattled I've ever seen him."

Before Tim could respond, the music changed. Everyone turned as Tamara walked down the aisle as Lucy's maid of honor, followed by Angela and Nyla. And then—

There she was.

Lucy Chen.

Tim forgot to breathe.

She was breathtaking. He'd seen her in a thousand different ways—tactical gear, undercover outfits, casual clothes—but nothing compared to this moment.

Lucy's heart pounded as she met Tim's eyes. He looked incredible in his suit, the deep blue matching his sharp eyes perfectly. But more than that, the way he looked at her, like she was the only person in the world, made everything else disappear.

She reached him, and Tim barely heard Grey's opening words.

"You okay?" she whispered, amusement in her voice.

Tim smirked. "I'll be okay once you say 'I do.'"

The ceremony was a blur of heartfelt vows, laughter, and even a few tears—especially when Lucy promised to always challenge him and Tim vowed to always have her back. When Grey finally said, "By the power vested in me... you may kiss the bride," Tim wasted no time pulling her in, kissing her like she was his entire world.

The guests erupted in cheers.

The Reception

The party was in full swing, with drinks flowing, music playing, and the LAPD family celebrating.

Angela and Nyla gave speeches filled with teasing but heartfelt words. Tamara nearly made Lucy cry with her toast, talking about how Lucy had been her family for years, and how happy she was to see her with Tim.

When it was John's turn, he grinned at Tim. "Never thought I'd see the day where Tim Bradford willingly got married again. But if there was ever someone who could prove him wrong about love, it's Lucy."

Lucy and Tim shared their first dance, swaying to a slow song, lost in each other.

"You're stuck with me now," Lucy murmured.

Tim smirked, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Good. I wouldn't want it any other way."

As the night wore on, they laughed, danced, and celebrated with their friends.

And when it was finally time to leave, Tim carried Lucy to the car, ignoring her protests as their friends cheered and whistled behind them.

As they drove away into the night, Lucy reached over, lacing her fingers with his.

"Forever, right?" she asked softly.

Tim brought her hand to his lips, pressing a kiss to her ring. "Forever."
