Keep An Eye On Her

Landos POV

I didn't even see her crash but as soon as the red flag went up I immediately knew that it was her.

I knew that it was all Tom's fault that's for damn sure.

As soon as the race was over Liam and I raced to get here.

I hated seeing her all bruised up in that hospital bed.

Liam looks too scared to even enter the room but after a few minutes he manages to get himself through the door way.

I notice that Hayden hasn't arrived here yet but I'm sure he'd be on his way.

Just then some man with blackish grey hair and tattoos all over him enters the room.

Liam just stares at him in shock and I could've sworn that I recognized the guy from somewhere.

I hear Liam cracking his knuckles but then he takes a deep breath and leaves the room.

"Oh my baby girl." Is the only thing I hear the man whisper before we all clear out of the room leaving the two of them alone.

My eyes grow wide.

Oh my gosh that's Lacy's dad.

Liam just turns to look at me as if he's read my realization.

"What the hell is he doing here?" I ask Liam out of complete shock.

"I couldn't even tell you. And how did he find out what hospital she was at."

"Well I know that he had been trying to get in contact with her recently but she hasn't been responding to him."

Liam slowly turns himself towards me with a shocked look on his face, "What? Tell me everything right now I need to know about this." He's asking me as if we're in highschool gossiping together.

"Well he called her and left a voicemail to Lacy but she never returned his call. He also texted her a few times saying like good job about her races but she also never responded to those."

"Good. He doesn't deserve a response. Listen I have known that man as long as I've known Lacy and he is cruel. He was not a nice man to be around if he was ever in a bad mood let me tell you. I also wasn't really supposed to know about who her actual father is as in the Tommy Flow, but Lacy and I were close so she told me." He shuts a hand over his mouth and then relaxes.

"Meh you just saw the guy so you already know who he is."

"She actually already told me about her dad."

"Really? Wow she must really like you then Norris." He says with a playful nudge on my arm.

Liam actually can't be saying those types of things because then I'll start to daydream and think I might somehow have a chance with this girl.

Well she's not some girl of course, she's Lacy.

I decide to get up and grab a small cup of water from the near by water tank in the waiting room.

I feel the coolness of the water through the outside of the little paper cup.

I down it immediately and grab another one.

Then to keep myself occupied I start to pace back and forth, counting my steps each time.

This is not what Lacy needs right now.

She needs to focus on her physical strength before she has to worry about anything mentally right now.

She's got enough to deal with from the other Tom in her life.
