Ch. 21 The Attack

*May's POV*

In just a few hours everyone will be on this pack run and will see my true form. I still have not really shown anyone my wolf form except my friends who have only seen a glimpse while providing me with clothes. It is not that I am ashamed of my wolf but that I do not want anyone to uncover that I am a half-blooded Alpha and by my wolf's stature it might confirm Ben's suspicions especially since that is all he has been fighting me on the past few days. I need to have Ben trust me but in order to do that I must let him know what the Moon Goddess revealed to me about my family and that I have Alpha blood. It might make him more mad but I doubt continuing to lie to him would be the right option either. I worked myself up to tell him once we shift back and everyone is in celebration mode drinking. I start to get ready. I wear my sports bra and matching track suit set. This is something I have multiples of. One thing I hate about turning is losing all the nice clothing you have as once it is ripped you can't get it back. I take one last look in the mirror before adding some perfume and heading downstairs. Jordan escorted me down to the kitchen. I needed to eat something before the turn or else my wolf would try to hunt and eat a dear again. I saw that the cook had a meal set aside for me, probably Liz had them make one for me. Steak and potatoes with a side salad, it really looked good. I sat down at the table and started to eat. I think Jordan mindlinked Ben as he showed up and sat down across from me to eat his meal. I continued in silence ignoring him like he was a fly on the wall. "Aren't you going to greet your Alpha?" he said abruptly. "Hello" I replied before looking back down and focusing on my meal. I could sense he was angry at my response. "Remember you stick beside me so my wolf can see yours. No hiding or tricks from you, we all know you are good at lying" he snarked back at me. I rolled my eyes before saying, "Yes, master. Would that be all? Did you also want me to roll over too?". Ben slammed the table causing the fork to fall onto the floor. He got up and left me alone. I heard him instruct the kitchen staff not to pick it up and that I will be licking it off the floor. I just ignore all his rude comments now. He is having another royal tantrum, and his anger is 100% directed towards me. I can't even be in the same room with him for longer than 10 minutes as I might go mad and attack him! I cannot believe that his dad turned him against me and he does not even know the full story. All of this is just making me mad and on a full moon that is not good. I finish my food and grab both plates. "Sorry he is such a dick," said Jordan. "It is not your fault your boss is a tyrant" I said. "No, but I will talk to him! He must treat you better!" Jordan said. I nodded in agreement; he is such a great guy I hope that he is rewarded his mate soon. Jordan and I head on down to the clearing by the woods. He left me beside Ben, giving me one last squeeze on my arm to show his sympathy with me. "Ready?" Ben said. I sighed and nodded my head. I had no time for any more games or fighting him. If this is how my life is going to be; then so be it. The Alpha of the pack said his speeches like he does every full moon. I could care less about what Ben's dad is saying, after all he is the one who started this all. I take off my shoes and socks leaving them by the clearing. I could see Betty J and Lilly Rae waving at me. I smile and wave back, they know to pick up my extra items. I strip to my sports bra and tights, dropping my sweater and letting my hair down to cover my cleavage. I gave Ben the middle finger as I could see his eyes burning a hole in my chest. Just when the moon was at its full peak it meant go time. Everyone started to run into the clearing starting to shift into their wolf form. Ben was fast on my tail, and I could see him at the corner of my eye, I shifted us a bit away from the rest of the pack so I can shift and show him my wolf form. I hunched over on all fours and let the change happen, I let out a loud roar. I stood in front of Ben and mindlinked him your turn Alpha, this is the real me I told him. He begins to shift into his wolf form, I could feel my wolf wavering for him, and his wolf was circling me. Even though Ben has been showing mean actions our wolves share one soul and will always be calling to one another. His wolf nuzzles on my neck, they were bonding in the moonlight. Ben was silent, he respected his animal form and wanted them to bond. They took towards the woods starting to run in the clearing and the moonlight listened from the thick wolves mane. We stopped at a small clearing and were mesmerized in the moonlight. That's when I heard a twig snap, both our wolves were alert and looked in the direction of the noise. Nothing. They wavered back to each other and continued to bond in the clearing. That's when it happened again, this time a low growl. A small wolf was circling me. Welcome back you fat slut the wolf said. MONA. I knew that horrible voice anywhere. Mona, leave me alone! I growled back. Ben was in the corner cautioning as he saw what was happening. I let him know it was Mona. Brave, aren't we? You are just a little she-wolf whore, and you need to know your place in the kitchen. Your wolf is huge, but you are week you fat slut! Mona said to me. Goddess, I thought I escaped this! This is my worst nightmare! Mona attacks trying to wrestle my wolf, but I am much faster and move out the way. Ben was about to intervene when another wolf came out of the clearing. Arrow Ben mindlinked me. Both Ben and Arrow were growling at each other, their eyes glowing. Ben and Arrow started to fight they were going at it blocking and using their strong jaws to get in big attacks. Blood was splattering everywhere, not sure if it was Arrow's or Ben's. I had to stop worrying about Ben and focus on Mona! She tries to attack me again. I block every attack, she is not a match for me, I am not the same person who I was in high school I am much stronger than that in my wolf form. She begins to taunt me before I knock her wolf on her ass, she is down for a bit, I look over at Ben who is yelping in pain. I could sense that Arrow is going to strike again and this time he might kill him, I cannot let my soulmate due no matter how mean he is. I have some connection to him. Arrow is one of the stronger Alphas. Ben managed to make it up, but I do not think he can take another blow, just when Arrow was going to make another attack I get between them using my wolf to block the blow. Arrow keeps attacking and hits my ribs, I yelp in pain, he rips my throat before Mona joins back in. I could feel the blood pouring out, Goddess Arrow is very strong, but he is not a match for me. Ben is still yelping in pain; he gets back up to attack shaking as his hind legs are locking into place. I must be quick! Before he can make a move Arrow goes in to get the final blow to Ben, I get up and run in front to block again. BOOM
