Ch. 15 Post party discussion

*May's POV*

We all sit in my bedroom with our snacks munching on chips, candy and slushies. Once we calmed down, I nodded at Betty J and Lilly as if I was going to start the conversation. "Well let's begin. First, I have a mate! I am getting married, and we almost got killed" I said. Lilly chimed in "partially because of your driving". I threw a pillow at her face. "Hey! Can you blame me, I was super stressed and reeling on tonight's events". I shifted back on my bed hitting my purse to the ground causing the book we stole to hit the ground. "Crap! I forgot we stole that as well!" I said. Betty picks up the book and proceeds to skim the pages while drinking her slushie. "Make sure not to get the pages wet. The book seems old" I said to her. She laughs then says, "Well one of us has to snoop since you parkoured up the wall to grab it. Let me see if I find anything interesting." I rolled my eyes. Betty has always been the one for recon anyways, after all her dream job is to be a security detail just like her father was. We left her to do her thing and snacked for a bit. Lilly and I start chatting as we let Betty go wild skimming the book. We started talking about the attack. "I am happy that Jordan saved us. Without him we would not have gotten out there alive" Lilly said. I replied, "Well also I saw the way you looked at him, if I haven't known better you were crushing on him." I saw her blush before she said, "Hush! I mean he was really cute, but I am still one and a half years younger than him. Guys like him want an older more experienced lady and I am not that". I got what she meant, most of the pack are looking for girls who already have their wolves for some fun while they wait for their mates. Anyone younger than them even by one year is not of interest. "Hey, if Ben the freaking Alpha can be my mate you would never know what will happen unless you try. I know you would like to try him" I said while raising one of my eyebrows. Just when Lilly was going to playfight me Betty was calling us over. "Look here, read this" she said. The passage said that half-blooded Alphas once given a mate and the marriage is sanctified in the pack, they gain a special ability. The ability is rare and unique that the Alpha can share with her mate. "Wow" I said. "This is good information but what power am I going to get. Also does the book mention anything more helpful?". Betty shoots me a look, "If I had more time I could read it front to back but see I only had 10 minutes to give you the scoop." I mouthed to her Sorry. "Okay how about after school tomorrow let's meet up here and continue to research this. For now, let's hide it." I said. I pulled out a small chest from under my bed. It just housed my diary for now, but I unlocked it and placed this journal into the box and locked it. Now that the book was secure, we spent the next hour talking about my future wedding. "Betty" I said, "how am I supposed to get married when I just turned 18 and to a stranger" She looked at me and said, "I know this is fast for you but you are marrying your mate. I am sure your wolf is begging you to be with him too and physically". I have not thought about that before. I am an 18-year-old virgin in more aspects than one. I wouldn't know how to satisfy him. Maybe watching porn videos will help? "Betty, I don't know how I could marry a guy if I never even kissed a guy in my whole life let alone tonight was the first time I let a guy hold my hand. I mean it was nice, but I might be disappointing him with my looks." I look over at Lilly who is giving her sister a look. "May" said Lilly, "I know you find this hard to believe but Betty and I are virgins too. Well, I know I am but not so much about her. But point is we don't know what to do with guys except watch all those she wolves making out with guys at parties. I mean it's a starting point but research. I know on your wedding night you will probably sleep with him". "I forgot that you sleep with your mate on the wedding day. I am so not prepared for that" I said. We continued to talk about how sex was going to feel for the first time and to be transparent with Ben so that he would go gentle on me. I mean he is the Alpha after all he probably has hooked up with hundreds of shewolves in his day.

We planned to meet at 4pm at my house. After a late night talking and barely sleeping it was time to get up and go to school. School was much better now that Mona was not there anymore. No more hurting me or making fun of me. Not like they can now. Most people were nice to me as they knew I was the future luna of the Sundance pack. Out of nowhere everyone including teachers who belonged to my future pack wanted to befriend me and cater to me. It was a change from what I was used to, but I knew in my heart the only ones near and dear to me are Betty J and Lilly Rae. RIIIINNGGG The last bell rang for the day. I ran out of the building to my car and raced home. It was 3:15pm and I had 45 minutes to myself before we got down to business. Just as I was pulling into my driveway, I saw Jordan's car in my driveway has been moved. Must be Jordan who came and got it while we were at school. Just as I was walking in the door, I heard my name. "May" I spun around to see Ben who was just walking out of his car. "Can I talk to you" he said. I shook my head yes and opened my door. I let him in and pointed to the right so he could make his way to the kitchen area. "Did you want anything to drink?" I ask. I see him looking around my house. He looks up at me and replies, "No I am okay thank you. Got to say you have a nice house for being by yourself". I don't reply. This is all my parents and grandma left me and I love this place. "Sorry" said Ben. I looked up as he was standing right beside me. "I did not mean to offend you. Seems I never say the right things to you". I threw him half a smile and said, "Well I am still a stranger to you, I did not expect you to know what not to say to me. But I forgive you." He smiles back at me. We make our way to the living room where we are sitting on the same sofa across from each other. "Well, Mr. Alpha. What did you want to say to me?" I said. "It's Ben to you" He replied. "I came here to ask you officially to move into my castle with me as we are getting married in 3 months and all." I did not expect him to ask me to move in so soon. I wanted to stay in my house until graduation. I was not expecting him to want me to move in so soon either. "Thank you for the offer but I would like to stay here until graduation. It is kind of hard for me to part myself from this house early." "It is not safe for you here" he said. "Safe? I have been here all my life if anything it is my safe haven. Non-negotiable I want to stay here." I replied. He thought about it for a bit. "What am I going to do with you. Fine. Stay here until Graduation which is in about 30 days then you will come and live with me. First in sperate quarters but once we are married it will be the same quarters." I blushed at that statement. He looked happy seeing me so uncomfortable. "Great, then I will see you in a month" I said. "No. Daily. If you want to stay here, you need to commit to come daily after school and all day on the weekends to the castle and take pack lessons" He said. "That's a big commitment" I said. He looked at me hurt and said, "So is marriage too. I am not asking for a lot, just daily check ins at the castle and maybe if you are nice to me a date or two" he smiled sheepishly. I could tell that he was such a big flirt. Must be doing this with all the she wolves. "Just to let you know, I am not easy. I never kissed a guy and until a week ago held a guy's hand until you. So, I am working on a lot of firsts here. Be patient with me Mr. Alpha." I said. Right then Ben starts to laugh. "What's so funny?" I say. "You" he said. Gosh he must think I'm ugly and a joke. Just then I stood up to walk towards the kitchen away from him, so I don't cry. Just as I was halfway he grabbed my hand and spun me around. His arms around my waist and I was staring into his eyes. "I was laughing because I think it's cute that all your firsts will be with me" he said. He looks down at my lips and slowly kisses me, I close my eyes and kiss him back. His lips are super soft and just his scent is driving me crazy as he is holding me in his arms. I might melt to the floor. He lands one more kiss on my lips before he pulls away. "Add this to your list of firsts" he said. He lets go of me slowly moving his hands off my waist and placed his hands loosely in my hands. I was blushing hard. "You have company" he said. I look over and see Betty and Lilly smiling hard. "Oh, don't let us ruin your make out session" said Lilly. I wanted to kill her. "If we were to make out, I guarantee we would not be in this living room anymore but a place a lot more private" He said with smirk. He squeezed my hands and planted a kiss on my forehead. "Remember after school for the next 30 days you are mine" he said. He then turned towards Betty and Lilly and said "By the way check your phone later. Happy early pack acceptance day". He then left. "WE GOT IN! MAY WE ARE ALL IN THE PACK!" screamed Betty. I knew she wanted to be in this pack forever. "We need to celebrate!" Lilly said. "Yes, Lets go out and celebrate! We can do the research later" I said. It is not every day that we get to celebrate. We make our way out to a restaurant and spend the night partying.

When we arrived at the restaurant our phone all rang one after another like Ben said. Betty was offered security detail to the pack which she accepted; Lilly was offered early acceptance with general pack duties. My phone was the last to ring and I picked up. "Miss me already." The voice said. "Who is this?" I asked. "Well, I am sad to hear you don't know my voice yet. It's your future Alpha" The voice said. I mouthed to my friends its Ben. Betty was making kissing sounds and Lilly was pretending to make out with herself. "Well, you know I am calling to offer you a spot on our pack as the future Luna" he said. I smiled then said, "I accept Mr. Alpha. See you tomorrow" then hung up. My friends were squealing. "Gosh he's so cute with you," said Lilly. "I mean he has to right" I said. "No, he does not have to, he wants to. Yes, May it is 100% cute" Betty chimed in. We finished our food and headed back to the house. I told them about Bens after school lessons. We agreed that we would either do sleepovers at my house or morning gossip sessions since Ben claimed me from 4pm until 8pm every day. I love that my friends were so understanding. Just in a few months everything is changing for me.
