Ch 9 shopping

*May's POV*

I woke up in the morning feeling refreshed. I finally felt what it means to be loved again by my other half. My wolf has been giving me insight on my lycan side. I am planning to research on my half-blooded Alpha roots very soon. I have found out that this is a rare form of Alphas in the bloodline. I sat up in my bed and stretched. I like it when you are happy my wolf said. My wolf was dormant before I turned eighteen but experienced my pain and suffering. There were so many times that she wanted to strike Mona but could not. I look at the alarm it is 10 am, Lilly and Betty will be arriving shortly. I shuffle off the bed and quickly pull the covers to make my room look neater. I then started tidying up by throwing my clothes in the laundry bin. I wanted my room to look a bit tidier after being upset for three days. I take out the trash from my room and spray a bit of air freshener to get the stale smell out. Next, I go to brush my teeth and use the washroom. I decided to shower before the party to wash the day filth from my body. I pick up a tracksuit set from my closet and place it on my body. I headed downstairs to make some breakfast. Knowing the girls they would come here with coffee and no food. I grab some eggs from the fridge and warm up a frying pan with butter. I love fresh eggs in the morning. Reaching over the counter I untie some bread and put it in the toaster, I leave three plates on the table with cutlery already to go. Once the toast is ready, I place them on a board and put them on the table. DING DONG That must be them. I turn off the stove and place the eggs down before opening the door. "Breakfast is on the table" I said. Betty J and Lilly Walk in with coffees and head to the table. "You always make a good breakfast" teased Lilly Rae. We sat in quiet to finish our meals scarfing down all the food. Betty washed the plates. "So, the dress code is semi- casual what are we wearing?" said Betty J. Lilly Rae squealed, "Shopping trip!". Oh no I know for sure that Mona is going to be at the mall I cannot risk seeing her. We cannot live in fear forever little one said my wolf. "I-I cannot go to the mall; Mona might be there" I said aloud. I was not proud that I was living in fear but after the naked picture fiasco I rather not have a changing room fiasco. So many naked picture opportunities at the mall. I shuttered at the thought. "I can wear my tracksuit I am sure they would not mind at all" I said. "A TRACKSUIT, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND WAKE UP!" shouted Lilly while shaking me vigorously. "Ouch! Okay I am not a rag doll" I exclaimed. "Listen and listen once to me, you have two options. Option A, go to the mall and have a fun time shopping or option B, online express pickup no fun for us". My wolf was right, I should not live in fear. Option A probably is more fun with my friends. I know online shopping always messes up my sizes, it's always too small. I cannot afford to have the wrong size just before the party, then I might not attend. "Okay, option A" I said. Lilly Rae squealed in excitement.

I packed a bag with water and sunglasses and made my way back downstairs. I was on my way to the mall with my best friends and nothing could stop me now. We piled in Betty's BMW and in less than 10 minutes we made it to the outlet mall. "First we get dresses, then shoes and afterwards accessories and makeup" squealed Lilly. She loves to go shopping, just a month ago we were following her around the mall on her own personal shopping spree. I know she has a passion for fashion and sometimes it is beneficial for everyone. We walk down the entrance way of the mall and make our way to the dress boutique. Inside were beautiful ball gowns made with diamonds and satin. A bit too fancy for our occasion. "Look over here" said Betty J pointing towards the casual section. We started to dig for dresses. There were not many options left over as it was the day of the recruitment party and most she wolves have already gone shopping. Lilly wasted no time handing Betty and myself three options to try on. "I want to see you try all options" she commanded. Once inside the changing area I examined the dresses, one was a long black dress with a big rhinestone in the middle of the front. The second option was a long-tie-dyed pink and red satin dress. The third option was a short purple sequin dress. I tried option three first and walked out. "Nope, go change that has too many sequins" said Betty laughing. I went back in and put on option one before walking out again. "You look like you are a single mom going on vacation," said Lilly. "You picked the dress options" I barked back. I went back in for the last time and tried option two. The dress hugged my curves; I knew it was a winner before I walked back out. "Oh, my Goddess, you look beautiful" exclaimed Betty. This was the dress. We then picked out Betty's and Lilly's dresses and checked out. Shoes were easy, we purchased flats that were easy to walk in especially on uneven surfaces. After one hour we picked out the final touches for our outfits and Lilly purchased some new lipsticks to match her dress. I got a white shawl to wear over my dress. Betty drove to my house to get ready. We ran out of the car and into my room. I finally got into the shower and was feeling good about myself. I exited the shower and made my way to my dresser. "Hair and makeup time!" shouted Lilly. I was first in the chair. She curled my wavy brown hair and applied hairspray to set the locks. For makeup she added a red lip with winged eyeliner. I went to put on the dress while she set her sister's hair. I took a deep breath and looked in the bathroom mirror; I looked like I came off the red carpet. The dress hugged my curves in all the right places, I exited the bathroom to show my friends. "So, what do you think" I asked. Betty gasped "May you look so beautiful I could kiss you". I giggled; I did not think it would be possible to feel confident in a dress after wearing sweatpants for so long. Lilly went to go get changed for the party quickly sporting a emerald green dress while Betty wore a mid-length open back dress. "Both of you look super sexy" I said. "I agree! Let's take some pictures I mean we look hot" Betty J said. We posed for a couple of shots and smiled as brightly as we could. I really enjoyed today. I am glad I have great friends. I grabbed my shawl and placed it over my shoulders hiding the dress for a grand reveal.

"Should we eat before we go to this shindig" Betty said, "I thought they would have food there" I replied. She smirked, "well I am sure they do but I prefer a greasier option". "Fries would be nice right now" chimed Lilly Rae. We grabbed our purses and headed down the stairs. I locked the front door and got in the back seat of the BMW. "How far is Sundance from the town?" I asked. "I think 30 minutes away or so," said Betty. After grabbing our fast food snacks, we started our journey to the pack grounds.

*Liz's POV*

He smelt so good I could inhale his scent all night. I met him a bit away from the pack territory line. "You look so sexy tonight" he said. For the past few weeks, I had been keeping a big secret from my brother Ben. My fated mate is Pedro his best friend and Beta. I did not mean for this to happen, but the Moon Goddess decides that fate. It was a few weeks ago when he turned eighteen. Pedro had always been around the pack house, but I never seen him in that way before. The next day when we celebrated his birthday, and we locked eyes my wolf was howling mate. I felt drawn towards him he looked freaking sexy. It wasn't long before we started sneaking off to meet up and bond. We agreed not to tell Ben since he worries too much, if he finds out naturally, we will be able to come out in public. We agreed not to mark each other yet as we wanted to be out in public as a couple before doing that. I pulled Pedro into a long kiss; I missed his lips and tonight I know he will be working. "You look amazing too" I said wrapping my legs around his hips. He carried me into the waterfall kissing my neck. I scream in delight. "Babe I am on a double tonight. Your brother asked me earlier today, he is getting suspicious of my disappearances" he said. In the night while my brother thinks I am partying I been out with Pedro living a secret life. I come home in the morning and sneak into bed, Ben usually catches me in the morning. "It is ok you have time now to make it up to me" I said.
