Chan gaped with wide eyes as he arrived to Seungmin's home that was clearly bigger than his packmate's flat.
He looked around, then at his phone just to make sure he wasn't mistaking the place, and found out that yes, the address was the same, along with the numbers.
He couldn't help but whistle silently as he rang the bell, looking around the paved ground to the small pebbles morphing into the garden going behind the house.
All of the others were supposed to be here, he was the latest since he was working at the library. He had to take care of the closing hour before he went to his jujitsu club.
He focused back on the door when he heard someone opening it, to finish in front of an older woman. She was smaller than him, smelled of cinnamon and her smile was typical of a Head Omega.
Must be Seungminie's mother.
"Good evening, you must Bang Chan-ssi."
Chan quickly bowed down with a smile, "Good evening, yes it's me."
She smiled and ushered him inside, in the warmth of Seungmin's home, didn't leave him for a second as she was already taking his coat along with his beanie, "Seungminie ! Your packmate is here !"
Chan was flustered as he quickly took off his shoes, muttering a quick thanks to her.
"I'll make you some hot chocolate, go rest young man."
The young man blinked just as Seungmin walked downstairs and that was when Chan finally noticed how huge the place was along with its interior.
Minimalistic design filled the place, colors such as white and black took turns on the furniture, but some were in marble and he couldn't even hide his surprise. It was definitely coming from a designer's taste.
"Hey hyung, welcome to my humble home," he teased with a smirk when he found him gaping like a fish.
"I- it's just- so, like-" he vaguely gestured to the place before shrugging his shoulders, loss of words, "- I didn't expect this."
Seungmin hummed, "I know, they were all like this before, except Jeonginie, come I'll show you around."
Chan followed him around, and each time he found himself in a new room he could only awe and gape at how expensive everything seemed to be.
But he couldn't help but notice how... cold the place seemed to be, empty of feelings and coziness.
"Where's your dad ?" He asked, he needed to greet him.
Seungmin raised an eyebrow, "He's not here ? Why are you asking ?"
Chan almost fainted when he found a jacuzzi, "Oh my god a jacuzzi- I thought he was here since your mom is there."
The young Beta blinked, "That's not my mom you met, it's my housekeeper, her name is Ichika," he ignored Chan's wide eyes, and shrugged, "well, she's more like a second mother though."
"That's... something."
Seungmin snorted, "I guess," before he pointed to a closed door, "there's the basement, everyone's down there being idiots."
Chan huffed a laugh, before he asked, softer, "So, they didn't come ?"
Seungmin's expression didn't change, seemed nonchalant, "They didn't," he trailed, "my dad's a pilot and my mom's an air hostess, they always go together."
The older smiled in sympathy, gently rubbing his back, "Must be hard for you, did they gift you something at least ?"
The younger shrugged, "I've got Ichika-san and my pack now," he smiled, "don't worry too much for me, I'll be fine," then he made a face, " they gave me money again."
