ㅤSilence and waiting have always been boring for most people. If one had to endure both by themselves, it was probably even more unimaginable—Tang Lisa was used to it, the girl next to her obviously wasn't.

ㅤProbably really bored, after a few minutes of waiting, the girl couldn't help but strike up a conversation with Lisa: "You look about my age, how old are you?"

ㅤ"16."

ㅤ"Ah, so we sure are about the same, I'm 17 and I'm studying at K's Senior High School, how about you?"

ㅤLisa was momentarily silent, "I take classes at home with a teacher who teaches Braille classes."

ㅤThe girl listened for two seconds before she felt something was wrong, and suddenly became flustered and at a loss, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry.... I didn't mean to mention that."

ㅤ"It's okay." Lisa snapped out of it, laughing lightly, "I've accepted my eyes being bad, it's just a bit unfortunate that I can't go to school normally."

ㅤLikely infected by the girl's soft smile, the girl standing next to Lisa stared at her for a few seconds before she came back to her senses and sighed in a low voice, "You're really good-looking, it's a pity that you can't see your own appearance.... Were your eyes always bad?"

ㅤLisa shook his head, "I had an accident when I was a kid, and it made me blind."

ㅤ"Huh? What accident?"

ㅤ"At that time, I met a boy who escaped after being kidnapped and tried to help him, but we were chased onto the street and had a car accident. After, I woke up like this."

ㅤ"...."

ㅤThe girl standing next to Lisa paused for a long time before she recovered and asked, "What about.... that boy?"

ㅤLisa was slightly startled, her hand holding the blind cane unconsciously gripped a little tighter then loosened. After a moment, she gave a light smile and shook her head, "I don't know."

ㅤ"Huh? How could you not? He wasn't there when you woke up?"

ㅤ"I heard from the doctor that he woke up a few days later with almost no memory of what happened. Maybe the kidnapping was too traumatic for him so it he forgot as a defense mechanism."

ㅤ"Then, then, wouldn't you have saved him for nothing!" The girl wailed resentfully on her behalf.

ㅤ"No," Lisa smiled, revealing a soft dimple, "I didn't tell you that I lived in an orphanage when I was a child. It was only after that hospitalization that my family found me. So it was only because I saved him that I found my family."

ㅤ"Ah...."

ㅤThe little girl didn't know what words to use to express her feelings, and opened and closed her mouth several times before she swallowed the words, "You are too miserable."

ㅤShe looked somewhat sympathetically at Lisa in front of her and sighed, "That's great, at least there was some profit from the disaster (idiom)."

ㅤ"En."

ㅤThe two girls exchanged names after chatting for a few sentences, and the girl called Xu Chaeyoung also exchanged her phone number with Lisa.

ㅤIn the middle of talking about the interesting things at her school, Chaeyoung suddenly paused, and a few seconds later she exclaimed in surprise, "Ah!"

ㅤLisa was busy following the sound and turned around, "What's wrong?"

ㅤChaeyoung had taken hold of her wrist, her tone unable to hide her excitement, "There's a particularly superb and particularly handsome boy coming over across the road—oh my god, oh my god he's coming this way towards us! Ahhhh...."
