[Ford POV]

"Fiddleford! Fiddleford!" I called out as I ran though the door. I heard the sound of tape being pulled coming from the livingroom. I ran in and paused in the doorway. He was wrapping something. "Fiddleford I made a breakthrough in my- what are you doing?" I asked. He smiled and stood up. He held the wrapped box. Yellow wrapping paper and tape, likely a box under it given the shape. "I made ya something to commemorate your findings! Well it was before whatever breakthrough you found but, I want you to have it. I spent a lot of time on it" he passes the box to me. I set my journal on the side table next to the recliner. I accept the box and begin to open it. When I get past the cardboard I'm a bit stunned. Its a perfect replicated snow globe of the house. It's actually kind of adorable, this is really special and he did all this just for me. "This must've been such a pain to make" I smile, I almost wanted to she'd a tear but I held back. Fiddleford just fidgets with his fingers before giving me a careful hug. I smile and return it with one hand holding the snow globe and the other on Fiddleford's back. He soon let go. He even looked a bit teary eyed. I'm sure he's just feeling a bit clingy though. He had some sort of breakup or bad situation with his former partner before he moved in and it really effected him. He still dedicates himself to helping me but I can tell he really misses being with someone in that sort of way. She meant a lot to him, I've only met her once or twice but in think her name was Emma Mae or something like that, I think it was Fiddleford's first significant other as well.
"I think I know just the place for it" I tell him. He looks at me with full attention. I head down to our work lab and place it on my desk. That way I'll see it every time we're working together. Fiddleford smiles, having followed me, "So what's this about a breakthrough?" He ask. "Oh! It completely slipped my mind, I had a wonderful dream this afternoon! I met some kind of interdimensional being! He said he could help me extend my research, we even had tea and played chess. He said he was amused by me, and that people like me only come around once a century!" Ford beams. Fiddleford's bashful smile soon fades and his eyes fill with worry and confusion. "Interdimensional? Are you sure about this Stanford? It seems a little too good to be true, plus he did come to you in a dream, so it could entirely be fictional" Fiddleford suggested. "It'll be alright, it's not like he's some kind of demon. He seemed more like.. a god, or some kind of other higher being; and you know what they say about triangles- they're one of the wisest shapes" I smile, trying to reassure him. He still looked in disbelief but still, he said he would trust me. I smiled and hugged him tightly.
Now if Bill really is some kind of God or god-like creature, I think I might have to create some sort of worship space that might please him. I could make or purchase some nice rugs and tapestries, but a few prisms maybe. I think that's a good start.
I've actually made rugs before, they're quite simple, one of the first I made was supposed to be some kind of electric rug experiment but it failed and just made me and fiddleford switch bodies. We were stuck like that for a day before we learned how to fix it. I tucked that rug away in one of the spare rooms so hopefully it doesn't happen again or to anyone else. I even marked it as an experiment on the tag.
I went to get my journal and record some things about Bill. After that I started making a small addition to one of me and Fiddleford's work rooms I rug where I'd clear my mind with some meditation, letting Bill occasionally roam my mind or posses my body. He would look around my lab and write me some clues on how to find the cause of the Gravity Falls weirdness magnetism, he said a big part of finding it would be adding a third floor to the basement and gathering as much metal as I could find. I was confused at first but I started getting come metal and bolts and such. Some days he wouldn't tell me anything at all. After a couple months of this Fiddleford stopped smiling at me even. He said sometimes I just seemed different and that he's seen me eat a whole jar of spiders. Bill said I shouldn't tell Fiddleford about our deal just yet because he doesn't want to get him paranoid or making his brain explode or something, not sure why the last one would occur but I trust him at least, he is a higher being. I shrugged and told Fiddleford I was probably just sleep walking or something. I hate lying to him and I think he knows when I do but he doesn't bring it up, so at least he'll stop talking about it for a while.
The next thing Bill asked is if I had any major power supply. I told him. I wasn't sure but I could probably build some kind of generator for whatever he needed it for. He smiled and told me that was perfect, so next time I fell asleep he built a ton of strange computers and such. There was still a bunch of metal left over too. He left instructions on how to use them on the back of Fiddleford's diploma... I have no idea where he found that but now Fiddleford's going to be even more pissed, so I better hide it because this is completely in ink. I crammed it behind one of the machines after analyzing the instructions for a while just so they'd stick to mind. I'm excited to see what Bill has planned for me next!
