Yuji's pov
"You...you received a scholarship?" I asked cheerfully, I had an outburst of happiness and gratitude all in one. He nodded, grinning. One of the most beautiful smiles he ever showed me, glancing down at his feet and then up at me again.
"God, Megumi, that's fantastic!" I took his hands, grinning from ear to ear. I was so excited and proud of him that I really didn't know how to let it out my chest. My eyes became glossy, tears of joy were about to get out. I knew he was able to get there. He's the best! I knew what that would have entailed, but I didn't want to think about that, at all. He deserved to sample his victory, his own proudness and strength. I was so happy, so proud and cheerful. We would have thought about that later.12th of July
"When are you leaving, 'Gumi?"
"Beginning of August, don't know when yet." I nodded sadly, yet so happily for him. I rested a hand on his thigh, showing a reassuring and gentle smile which he returned.
"You're ruminating on something, right?" Resting his hand on mine, he asked. Glimpsing lightly at something in front of him, and then again at his figure, I nodded. The smile I was showing didn't leave my face. I didn't want to feel sad about it just then. There was still some time we could spend together.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"It's nothing, babe, let's just appreciate our time together while we still can, that's enough. Shall we go anywhere tonight?" I suggested.
"Wherever you want." I nodded cheerfully.17th of July
"I'm gonna miss you." I confessed sorrowfully, in a whisper, resting on his chest. No response came to my ears. Dismayed and aware of his lack of sleep during the night, I knew he didn't hear a single word I said, too immersed in his dreams. I glanced up at him as a regretful and guilty smile appeared on my lips. I didn't want to disturb his sleep. Glimpsing back down, I began crying like a little kid. I was really pathetic; I missed him while he was there underneath me, surrounding my body with his arm.

Warm. His hand was terribly warm. I smiled, observing his thoughtless expression and carefree visage on my chest. The Netherlands, uh? A great destination.
While sleeping he looked totally relaxed and tranquil, as I observed the blue sky above me, admiring me back from afar. Wind messed up my hair delicately, as I began wondering about the wonderful experience Megumi would have had in about three weeks. Our time was slowly coming to an end, and despite the endless sadness invading me, I was so content for him that I almost managed not to mind it. I smiled again, glancing at him. My hand was still holding his, and that was enough. We were together, there was nothing more I would have asked for. I breathed the mild summer breeze, invading my lungs and skin. I felt at peace. My other hand settled just under his chin, caressing his jaw. Smooth, perfect skin. Although the sun kissed his skin everyday, he didn't get tanned much. The paleness is definitely one of his characteristics traits, and I love how it suits him. I closed my eyes, listening to the nature speaking to us. My hand intertwined with his perfectly. I was aware of the grass blades tickling my nape, but I was focused on him and him only.21th of July
"Yuji, is it really necessary?" He asked confusedly.
"Yes!" I stated cheerfully, standing behind him while he sat comfortably on the grass.
"Please, tell me they are not blue like my hair." I giggled.
"Nope, they are pink like mine!" He grinned. Touching his soft and irresistible hair, I sank my hands into the huge midnight blue cloud, caressing his head, warm due to the sun rays shining upon us. The reflections of his hair were terribly vivid and gorgeous. Then, I analysed carefully the perfect spots for the job I had to accomplish. My smile didn't fade for a second."That's perfect!"
"Ugh, let me see." I took a picture from above, proudly showing him my work. He was impressed, but cheerful deep inside. Now, resting gently on his head, there were dozens of tiny, pink flowers, clinging to his blue strands.
"You're so cute!" I exclaimed, sitting down beside him, with a light blush colouring my cheeks. Pink adorned his traits too. Darling. I took his arm and rested my head on his shoulder affectionately, as we both observed the horizon.
