The next morning everybody regrouped in the great hall for breakfast. Quiet conversations drifted through the air as students, parents and teachers all wondered what would be shown next. "If everyone is done eating we should continue on with the film." Thalia suggested moving to sit back in here space from yesterday. Once everyone was sat back in their places the screen flickered on.

A buzz of conversation fluttered through the grate hall as the students began their breakfast, today was the first day of flying lessons, Gryffindor and Slytherin in the morning, then Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff in the afternoon. "Good morning Hyacinth, Jake. Exited for your first flying lessons?" Astro took a seat, opposite the pair, next to Pansy and Daphne. "Morning Roro. No, I'm not looking forward to flying, it feels like a suicide attempt." Cassiopeia replied taking a sip of water from her goblet.

A nod of agreement came from each of the Demi gods at the thought of flying, Zeus too nodded, an almost proud chiseled onto his face.

Jake snorted at her comment choking on his food as he did. Waking Jake on the back, Cassiopeia continued engaging in a conversation with her other friends. "We don't have any lessons after flying today right?" Daphne checked dabbing her mouth with a pale green handkerchief, a collective nod bounced across the group as they regarded her. Noticing that everyone was done eating Jake stood, as always offering his arm to Cassiopeia, and suggested that they make their way out to the field early, stopping by the Gryffindor table on the way to pick up Kira. This had become a regular occurrence for the students of Hogwarts, initially it confused them, many not liking other houses mixing with their own, however as the weeks passed they learned to adapt to the shooting stars and their behaviour.

"Ohhh we get to see your first flying lessons son!" Sirius was ecstatic to say the least.

The group stood on the field for about five minutes just talking before other students started emerging from the great hall. Most avoided the group either scared of their intimidating auras or just not wanting to interact with Slytherins, however one student came rushing up to them from behind, throwing his arms over Astro and Cassiopeia's shoulders making everybody freeze. "Corvy how many times have you been told not to jump on people?" Cassiopeia scolded ramming her elbow into his stomach and watching as he doubled over coughing. "Fair point but you know you love me." Corvus wheezed out as he straightened back up and greeted the rest of the group. The other students watched the scene unfold with an uneasy silence which broke as their teacher arrived earning a relieved sigh from them. "I am Madam Hooch I'll be your teacher for today. What are you waiting for place your hand over the broom and say 'up!' Nice and clearly." Madam Hooch, a woman with short static grey hair and striking yellow eyes like those of an eagle, instructed. Many students followed her instructions chorusing 'UP!' As they hovered their hands over their brooms. Astro, Corvus, Jake and Kira got it first try earning an encouraging smile and thumbs up from Cassiopeia, Pansy and Daphne who had opted out of the flying situation,

"My son is a natural!" Sirius boasted, a smug grin on his face that Corvus mirrored. "Ugg why did he have to take after you?" Remus asked rhetorically rubbing his temple from the on coming headache as he watched Sirius and Corvus high five while discussing quidditch tactics.

Cassiopeia had tried to convince Kira it was a bad idea too but she was stubborn shouting something like "Zuzu can try and strike me down but he'll have to catch me first!" Over her shoulder as she joined Corvus next to a broom.

A boisterous laugh echoed through the room startling many of the students who turned to see where it was coming from. Over to the side of the room they saw Ares doubled over in laughter slapping his knee and Zeus with an indignant and insulted expression on his face which only made Ares laugh more, a couple of the other gods and goddesses chuckled as well at the angered expression on Zeus' face. "Well done daughter, truly, ohhh Zuzu, I'm never going to stop calling you that now!" Ares remarked missing the shocked expression on Kira's face, tears welling up in her eyes as she gazed at her father. "Daughter? He's never called me that before." She whispered in disbelief turning to Alex who placed a comforting hand on her shoulder with a smile.
