Meanwhile back at camp-halfblood

"Oh we get to see you guys, that's great." James smiled over to the other demigods.

"Kiki!" Jake's voice called out across camp, he was panting, his feet striking the floor as he ran, occasionally looking back over his shoulder. "You have to help me!" He pleaded skidding to a halt next to the confused girl, her hand was clutching at her sword, sweat lined her skin. "What? What's the matter?" She placed herself into an offensive position, her blade held up before her. "He, he's trying to kill me." Jake gasped out, hiding behind her. "Who?" Before Jake could answer another figure came rushing over. "Don't hide behind her you coward, face the consequences like a man!" Alex came barrelling over and Kira only just managed to jump out of the way of his attack. "You fucking bastard, are you are the so called son of Zeus, all might child of the big three." Alex mocked knocking Jake to the ground. "I'm sorry ok? I didn't mean it." Jake tried to wriggle his way out of the taller boys grip but it was futile. "What is happening?" Kira jumped when she felt someone's breath on her ear. "Sorry?" Eleana giggled at the dark skinned girls startled expression. "I'm not entirely sure." Kira replied. "I'll tell you what happened," Alex turned to them, still sat on Jake's stomach, "this little shit lost my favourite pen!" He snapped, glaring down at said blonde.

"All that over a pen?" Sirius questioned. "One that he found two days later." Jake glared half heartedly at Alex who gave him a semi-apologetic smile.

"Okaaayyy." Kira and Eleana backed away slowly and left, they wanted no part in whatever was happening behind them. As soon as they were out of ear shot they burst out laughing, holding onto each other for support. "Want to go for a walk?" Eleana asked once they had calmed down. "Sure, let's go." Kira replied and they took off, strolling idly around camp, "hey Clari!" Kira called to her sister when they passed by a training area, Clarisse was in the middle of pummelling some poor camper. "Hey!" She yelled back not looking up.

The two girls decided to stay and watch the rest of the sparing session, standing off to the side as Ares kids took on whoever was dumb enough to go against them. Just as the session was wrapping up Kira felt a hand smack against her butt and span round to see who it was, she didn't recognise him, 'he must be new' she thought, "hey gorgeous." He winked obnoxiously. "Hey, that's my sister you asshat!" Clarisse yelled and the boy paled. "Get over here." He looked conflicted, no matter what he did he was going to end up hurt. Cautiously he approached Clarisse and she immediately grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him onto the mat where she proceeded to beat him to a pulp, the poor boy didn't even get to defend himself. No one stepped in to help him, no one tried to calm Clarisse down, a couple of her siblings ran off to grab their sister a blanket from their cabin which they threw over her shoulders, ruffling her hair slightly. "You ok?" Eleana whispered, gently rubbing Kira's arm through the blanket. "Yeah, better now that I get to see this." She replied with a smirk. Once Clarisse had her fun she let the boy go, "next time you think to put your hands on someone without permission I won't let you walk away." She threatened as the boy limped as quickly as he could over to the infirmary.

Whistles and cheers erupted from the girls in the hall, "yeah you teach him girl!" Someone yelled out followed by many calls of agreement.

"You know I heard the satyrs talking and there should be a new camper joining us soon." Eleana remarked as she sat down by the creak, Jake on one side of her and Kira on the other, Alex was lying down next to Kira. "Really? How do you know that?" Alex asked. "Child of Persephone, I spend my free time in the strawberry fields or with the satyr, we get along great, they really appreciate all my pretty flowers." She answered rolling her eyes. "Right." Jake nodded along, though he looked lost in thought. Eleana snapped a finger in front of his face, "if you aren't going to listen you can fuck off you know." She sassed, shoving him slightly. "Sorry, sorry." He held his hands up in mock surrender, "just thinking of the guys on the quest, I wonder how they are."
"They're fine, Cass is with them and do you really doubt her ability to survive a quest?" Kira asked rhetorically, a reassuring smile on her face. "Yeah, you're right." Jake huffed out a breath. "I always am." She flicked her braided hair over her shoulder, smacking Eleana in the face in the process. "Hey!"
"Sorry, Ell bell." She apologised with a giggle.

They looked happy, young. James looked over to the demigods, they were smiling, their face painted with grins that matched the ones on the screen but all the youth had died. Something in them looked cold and distant.

"You know..." Jake drew everyone's attention, "I bet that Percy and Cassiopeia will be dating by the time they're back from the quest." He said. "No way, neither will have the guts to confess, I give it until just before we have to leave for school." Kira argued. "I agree with Kiki." Eleana chimed. "I'm with JJ." Alex rose his hand, "20 drachma, 10 galleon we'er right." He wagered, holding his hand out to Kira. "You are going to owe us so much money." She teased shaking his hand.

"You bet on us?" Percy placed a dramatic hand on his chest as though he had been stabbed. "Oh the pain." Cassiopeia swooned over Percy and Sally who laughed. "Oh shove off." Kira laughed, rolling her eyes.

"Hey guys," a satyr jogged, or is it trotted? over to them, "Chiron wishes to see you." They said before leaving in the direction of the strawberry fields. "Alright," Jake was the first to stand, pulling Eleana up next, "off we go then." He tossed his arm over Kira's shoulder as they walked, Eleana and Alex behind them. "Hi Chiron, what did you need?" They each took a seat by the centaur, who was currently in his wheel chair. "Ah, hello young children," he addressed them, "I wish to speak with you regarding the matter of the winter solstice and Cassiopeia's cabin." He said. "Well we would have to wait for Cass to return before making a decision about the solstice but we'll probably be in England." Kira explained, leaning her chin against her palm. "As for her cabin," Eleana pulled out a small sketch book, "I had a couple of ideas." She flicked through the pages until she found the one she wanted, turning it to show Chiron the design she had in mind. "We think it should be over there." Alex pointed out the window to where they wanted it located, "it would be cabin 12 right?"
"Indeed that is the plan," he acknowledged "these are all excellent ideas, Kira if you and your siblings could start collecting wood, Eleana can you show these plans to cabin 9?" Chiron directed.
"Hey sir, where is Mr D?" Jake asked looking around the room. "Ah, Mr D was called to Olympus by his wife, something about missing clothes." Chiron dismissed. "Ok... thank you sir, have a good day." The quartet split up as they left the big house, spreading out to complete their tasks for the day.

"They designed and built your cabin?" Euphemia asked, an excited smirk on her face. "That they did." Cassiopeia grinned back, "it is truly beautiful." She sighed wistfully.
