"Ugg when are we going to see my baby again?" Lily groaned as the screen faded to black. "Dear merlin woman, do you ever stop complaining, all you have done is grumble since this all started." Blaise rebutted, rolling his eyes at the ginger woman. "So should I be worried about this year?" James looked over his children with a nervous smile. "Well, not really, it all gets sorted pretty quickly I would say." Kira replies with a little smile trying to reassure James. "Put it this way, I don't recall anyone getting badly hurt." Alex said leaning his head on top of Jake's.
The first month of second year went without a hitch, Astoria, Daphne's little sister, had been sorted into Slytherin, Ginny was sorted into Gryffindor and a little platinum blonde girl called Luna Lovegood was sorted into Ravenclaw, something Achlys had been very excited about. "So what do you think about the new DADA professor?" Kira asked leaning her head on Alex's shoulder as they walked. "Who Lockhart?" Eleana scrunched up her face at the thought of the flamboyant older man, "he's mentally unstable and completely incompetent." She answered rolling her eyes. Cassiopeia laughed at their conversation but stopped when someone bumped into her, "oh sorry." They said looking up to see who they had walked into, "Cassiopeia?" She tilted her head. "Luna?" Cassiopeia whispered pulling the girl into a gentle hug, "I've been looking everywhere for you." She muttered into the shorter blonde's ear. "Do you to know each other?" Jake cocked a brow at the interaction between the two girls, only to be waved off by Cassiopeia who had taken to engaging in a conversation with Luna. "Right I'll see you later, if you have any problems at all come tell me and I'll sort them for you." Cassiopeia promised placing a soft kiss on Luna's forehead. "Care to explain what that was?" Eleana queried walking beside her black haired sister. "It's hard to explain, Luna is a seer like me, and sometimes we would share visions, and when we would share visions we would often interact with each other. She's a really sweet girl plus Betty grew up with her and her parents after Barty was sent to Azkaban." Cassiopeia explained as they continued to walk. The halls were empty as the majority of students were still eating dinner in the great hall, the shooting stars however, had decided that an early evening walk would be better than a stuffy meal, they planned on going down to the kitchens later to eat. Suddenly they stopped, "do you hear that?" The all too familiar voice of Harry called out, "here what?" Ron replied while the shooting stars stopped walking and hid behind one of the walls, "that voice, it's going to kill someone come on!" And then the trio took off in a run with Hermione and Ron yelling that Harry was going mental. "That was strange." Kira muttered. "Not nearly as strange as the voice I heard in the walls." Cassiopeia answered, leaning her head on the wall, "it sounded like a snake, I'm almost certain that it was speaking parseltongue." She continued before standing up and walking with her siblings over to where they heard a loud commotion. "You've killed her, I'll kill you for this!" The care taker Filtch yelled as he lunged at Harry, surveying the scene they took notice of the petrified Mrs Norris hanging in the air. "She's not dead, just petrified." Dumbledore announced when he showed up, "everyone back to your dorms except you three." He sent everyone away with the exception of Harry and his only two friends. "Hey Cassy do you know what that was?" Pansy asked when they arrived to the common room. "I'm not sure but I'm working on it. Hi Astoria, how are you finding Hogwarts so far?" Cassiopeia explained before turning her attention to the younger brunette who had latched onto her side "it's alright, I've made a few friends but what if that thing hurts us?" She was close to tears as she buried her face into Cassiopeia's side. "You'll be ok, we'll fight of the danger." Cassiopeia assured tickling Astoria's sides to make her laugh. "Tomorrow, room of requirements, 4:30, tell the others if you see them." Jake said to Pansy before going back to his room. "Do you want to sleep in with me tonight?" Cassiopeia offered when Astoria clung to her tighter each time she tried to leave, "please." Astoria whispered. "Say night to everyone first and get changed then come to my room, it's just over there." She explained pointing to the door that lead to her and Jake's rooms. The next morning Astro, Daphne, Pansy and Jake all had to coherence Astoria to let go of Cassiopeia so that they could go to their lessons, "right let's go, the others are probably already waiting for us." Alex ushered them all up to the seventh floor where they found, Neville, Achlys, Corvus, Fred and George were waiting. "Hey guys!" Eleana beamed when she saw them, they all watched as Cassiopeia paced back and forth before the wall split open into a door. Walking inside they were greeted with a large conference room with a round oak table in the middle. "Ok so everyone take a seat, I want to discuss what happened with Mrs Norris earlier," Cassiopeia directed everyone to the table.
