After being claimed, Percy found himself once again the outcast, the other campers were wary around him, even Clasrisse and her siblings kept their distance, the only people who didn't chance were Luke, Cassiopeia, Jake, Alex, Kira, Eleana and Grover. "So," Cassiopeia's voice cut through his thoughts, "I've been thinking, that since we're friends and all you should know something."
Percy rose a brow at her statement, it was ominous and vague. "Come on Percy, we'll explain it all in our cabin." Jake lead Percy to the Zeus cabin by his shoulder. "You should sit down." Cassiopeia suggested before she began to speak, her voice was steady and firm as she explained the world of magic to the boy, not skipping any details as she told him about who she and her siblings were and what they did. "So you're telling me that you are a royal witch who uses a wand to preform magic?" Percy summarised, "well I suppose if the gods are real magic can't be a stretch." He sighed while Cassiopeia looked at him in sympathy.

"This is dangerous, she is exposing us to the muggles!" Molly screeched. "You hypocrite," Marlene glared at the gingers, "you follow Dumbo over there. Plus he's not really a muggle as such, he is a demigod after all."

"Hey guys, Chiron wants to talk to you three." Grover popped his head into the cabin to call for the three 12 year olds. "Ok, we're on our way." Jake replied standing up.
"Oh look who it is our little celebrity." Dionysus said, "don't expect me to treat you any differently just because old barnacle beard is your father." A net of lightning flashed across the clouds. "If I had it my way I would cause your molecules to erupt in flames. We'd sweep away the ashes and be done with the trouble but Chiron seems to think that it would be against my mission: to keep you little brats safe from harm." Mr D groaned. Jake chuckled until Cassiopeia smacked him, "spontaneous combustion is a form of harm." Chiron put in. "Nonsense the boy wouldn't feel a thing," Dionysus said, "nevertheless I have agreed to restrain myself. I'm thinking of turning you into a dolphin instead, send you back to your father."
"Mr D-" Chiron warned.
"It's better than what you want to do with him," Mr D mumbled, "there is one more option but it is deadly foolish." Dionysus rose and his invisible players cards dropped to the table, "I'm off to an emergency meeting on Olympus. We if the boy is still here when I get back I'm turning him into an Atlantic bottle nose. Do you understand? And Perseus Jackson, if you're at all smart, you'll see that's a mush more sensible choice." Mr D picked up a playing card and twisted it, and it became a plastic rectangle. A security pass. He snapped and the air folded around him, he became holographic then a wind and he was gone. "Sit children please." Chiron smiled tiredly. Cassiopeia sighed, she knew what was coming, "whats the quest?" She asked, her voice cracking with exhaustion. Her words went ignored, "tell me Percy, what did you make of the hell hound?" Chiron's sole focus was on the boy. Something in him, told Percy that Chiron wanted him to say it was nothing but he didn't feel like lying. "It scared me, if Cassiopeia hadn't shot it, I would be dead." He shuddered at the thought. "You'll meet worse Percy. Far worse before you are done." Cassiopeia shut her eyes and took a deep breath, steadying herself.
"Done with what?"
"Your quest of course, will you accept?" She sighed, this was the same technique that he had used for her first quest.
Percy glances at Grover, "sir, you haven't told me what it is."
Chiron grimaced, "well that's the hard part, details." Thunder rumbled across the valley. As far as the horizon stretched the sky and sea boiled together in the heat of the brewing storm. "Poseidon and Zeus are fighting again," Jake interrupted, "something has been stolen, what do you want us to do Chiron? We don't have all day." He urged Chiron to get to the point. "You are correct, Poseidon and Zeus are having one of their worst quarrels in centuries. They are fighting over something that was stolen, a lightning bolt."
"A what?" Percy nervously laughed.
"It's Zeus's master bolt, a two foot cylinder of celestial bronze with god level explosives on both ends." Jake explained already over the whole conversation. "Zeus believes you stole it," Chiron continued, during the winter solstice, at the last council of the gods, Zeus and Poseidon had an argument. The usual nonsense: "mother Rhea always liked you best." "Air disasters are more spectacular than sea disasters."
