After Thalia's suggestion many people left the hall to go and relax or talk with friends, Percy, Cassiopeia, James, Nyx and Poseidon all leaving together as they exited the hall, deciding to go to the black lake to talk. Percy sat down leaning his back on a tree before pulling Cassiopeia to sit down between his legs, her back against his chest as kissed the crown of her head before dropping his head to her shoulder. James, Poseidon and Nyx watched the pair with loving eyes, "so how long has this been a thing?" James questioned gesturing to the duo. Cassiopeia chuckled lightly, "for a while truly, we got married when we were young." She smiled softly up at her parents and father in law. "When you were young? Daughter you are young." James exclaimed as he stared at his only daughter with a perplexed expression. "Younger." Percy corrected.
"And you, if you hurt my daughter it won't matter who your parent is, I'll rip you limb from limb." James pointed at the blonde boy with a dangerous glint in his eye, "don't worry I'll help you, no son of mine will be disrespectful to women." Poseidon agreed crossing his arms over his chest. "Hypocrite." Percy coughed into Cassiopeia's ear making her laugh and slap his arm to silence him. "Why don't we all sit down and get to know each other more, after all we are family?" Nyx suggested taking a seat opposite her daughter and son in law with a small smile which grew when both of the men complied, Cassiopeia payed no mind to the conversation soaking in the fresh air and warmth of her husband as her mind was lulled to sleep by the steady thrum of her lover's heart. Feeling Cassiopeia go limp against his body, Percy looked down to find her fast asleep, her face relaxed and tranquil as she slept, a smile washing over his features as he gazed lovingly at his wife, his hands resting on her stomach as he hugged her waist while continuing the conversation with the three adults who watched the pair lovingly, feeling their hearts swell at the interaction between the couple.Back in the great hall Nico leaned on Will's side, placing a soft kiss on his cheek, "do you think they're ok? Cassiopeia can get so overwhelmed by things like this, especially having all her life and secrets on display for others, strangers no less to watch." He looked up at the blonde before looking over to Clarisse, Thalia, and their other friends. "I know what you mean, I feel like all this is a nightmare for her." Grover said nervously, his eyes flickering around the hall. "Mmm you're right, I wish this wasn't necessary all these bloody morons gawking at her like she's some spectacle." Clarisse argued, glaring at any of the remaining students who looked their way. "I know what you mean, it doesn't help that all our parents are here watching us." Travis said sending a glance over to the thrones in the corner double taking when he saw two more of the thrones empty. "Well boys, tell me how do you feel about all this." Hermes suddenly appeared behind Fred and George throwing an arm over each of them while Apollo leaned his arm on Will's head. "Father-" Fred started, "we think that this is a-" George continued "is a total shit show." They finished together. Hermes released a humm at the statement, looking over to the other gods then Dumbledore, truthfully he was rather fond of the young dark haired woman and knowing how the old fool treated her had pissed him off. Apollo sighed as he looked around, noticing the glare Hermes was sending someone he followed his line of sight to the flamboyantly dressed old coot, understanding why he was glaring in an instant, it was no secret that the gods played favourites and that for many of them Cassiopeia was that favourite, sure being the favourite of a god probably wasn't going to make her life easier in the godly world but it did mean that they became fiercely protective of her from the 'outside' world, or rather anything that wasn't a monster or other god. Dumbledore was truly an oblivious fool as to just who he had pissed off and that would come to bite him.
Achlys, her father's, Regulus, Pandora, Luna, and Astro had all grouped together in the middle of the Ravenclaw common room, there was surprisingly no one else there except for them. "So my sweet daughter, how's the love life?" Barty started, missing the wince from all there of the future generations. "It's good, I'm engaged to a great guy umm you'll see him a lot later in the films though, he's actually the brother to Luna's fiancé." Achlys answered the hesitation in her voice dissipating as she spoke about her lover. "You're engaged?" Pandora turned to her daughter who released an airy sigh, "yes I am, he's an amazing man from America, he and his entire family and very interested in magical creatures." She describes wistfully, the ever present dreamy look in her eyes. "I see, I'm glad you're happy." Pandora ran her hand through her daughter's hair. "What about you, son? Any lover?" Regulus questioned his offspring. "Umm no, not at the moment." He answered as he looked over to his father. "I've been meaning to ask, you said you were adopted by the Le Stranges but you grew up with my mother, why?" Regulus probed. "Well you died, so I was adopted, then both of the Le Stranges were sent to Azkaban so I was left with your mother." He explained briefly as he looked over the people in the, people he should have grown up with but never knew. "What about your mother?" Even asked invested in the boys life story. "Umm my mother was never in the picture, she left me on dad's doorstep the day after I was born and just disappeared, her name was Angela Carlton I believe, she was a half blood if I remember correctly from what little I was told about her." Astro's eyes tipped back as he tried to recall what he knew of his biological mother, "it wasn't that bad really." He cleared up when he saw the sympathetic looks they sent his way. Suddenly the door swung open and the rest of the Black family poured in, "we need to have a conversation." Orion Black declared taking a seat, his wife sitting beside him. "We have come to the conclusion that I have been placed under the imperious curse by not just Dumbledore but also Voldemort." Warburg stated looking over to her eldest son, "I'm so sorry for everything, I wanted to stop it, really I did but I couldn't get control over my own body."
"I won't say it's ok, but I will say that I can move past it. For now we need to use the counter curse as it's only temporarily being stopped due to the enchantments in place to prevent harmful magic." Sirius stated looking over at his mother then aunts and uncles. "Correct you are Sirius, shall we get to work then." Cygnus ordered as he stood from his place beside his wife, Druella. The next hour was spent working on finding and using the counter curse to free Walburg's mind and body from the clutches of the two twisted men.Waking from her nap, Cassiopeia snuggled deeper into her lover's arms, slowly blinking her blue eyes open to look up at him, "well good morning theá mou. How did you sleep?" Percy placed a kiss on her forehead the nose and finally lips as her mind woke up. "I slept well, you're very comfortable theé mou." She whispered back before turning and making eye contact with her mother who smiled at her daughter. Waving softly at the three other people present, she shuffled a little to get more comfortable, laying her head back onto Percy's chest as he drew little shapes and designs over her stomach and ribs while continuing to converse with their parents. Cassiopeia once more ignored the talking and took to gazing out at the black lake for entertainment, watching the giant squid's tentacles break the water as he neared the surface before disappearing back under the murky waters. The sun was just beginning to set, a rosy light claiming the earth as night drew in. "Come on let's head inside and get something to eat." Percy gently pushed Cassiopeia off him so that he could stand. "Can we eat in our room, I don't want to be around people right now?" Cassiopeia requested as she took his outstretched arm and began walking behind their parents. "Sure, let's go to the kitchen and grab some food first." Percy kissed her head before leading her down to the kitchen away from the great hall. Tickling the pear in the portrait, it swung open allowing the duo to enter the warm and buzzing kitchen, "what can mopsy do for yous?" A house elf appeared before them. "Can you prepare us one bowl of chicken ramen and one plate of tomato pasta with garlic bread please?" Percy requested.
"Of course where would you like to eats it?" Mopsy asked.
"The room of requirements please?" Cassiopeia answered, smiling politely before leaving once Mopsy nodded to them. Making their way up to the seventh floor the couple entered the room of requirements, it taking the form of a large bedroom with a king size blue bed against the far wall, a fireplace with two sofas and a table before it to the left and two doors leading to the bathroom and wardrobe to the right. Walking into the room the couple took a seat on the sofas and talked for a couple of minutes before Mopsy appeared with their food, thanking the house elf they dug in, savouring the flavours of their meal. Once they were finished the plates disappeared, "I'm going to go for a shower." Cassiopeia announced standing up. "And I'm going to join you." Percy followed after her as they entered the bathroom, both stripping off their clothes while the water heat up. Soaking in the warm water Cassiopeia stood with her back to Percy as he lathered her hair in shampoo, before helping her rinse it out, after applying conditioner to her hair he span around to let Cassiopeia massage shampoo into his scalp as the conditioner set in her hair, rinsing of both of their hair they began scrubbing down their own bodies. Once out of the shower they both rapped themselves in fluffy white towels, "sit down I'll dry your hair." Percy took one of the towels from Cassiopeia's hand as she took a seat on the edge of the bath, carefully rubbing the water out of her hair with the towel before they swapped places and Cassiopeia dried his hair. Exiting the bathroom they went to change clothes, Cassiopeia stealing another one of Percy's shirts, this one was black with the Cassiopeia constellation on it, it had been a gift from Annabeth for their one year anniversary, while Percy put on a pair of blue checkered trousers before picking Cassiopeia up causing her to squeak in surprise. "Come on time for bed, you need lots of rest." He plopped her down under the covers before wiggling in next to her, pulling her close to him. "Good night, I love you my star." Percy kissed her cheek. "Night, I love you too, my puddle." Cassiopeia placed a kiss on his lips, snuggling back into his chest as they both fell into her brother's domain.
