Cassiopeia was stood with her siblings next to the archery range, they were talking as they half monitored the campers as they sent arrows flying at their targets. "No because then Clarisse said that, Luke said, that Conner had been the one to spill paint on my jacket." Cassiopeia ranted her arms crossed. "Oh that sucks, did the paint come off?" Kira winced, knowing how much Cassiopeia loved that leather jacket. "No!" Cassiopeia groaned, "in the end I just painted a design on it to cover the stain but-" she cut herself off when she saw a familiar blonde waving over to her.
All the campers went silent as they watched as the new kid dared to interact with one of the 'Fearsome Five' as the campers dubbed them. Much to their shock, Cassiopeia smiled brightly and waved back, jogging over to the boy, Kira, Eleana, Jake and Alex following behind.
"Why were they shocked by you waving back?" Regulus asked Cassiopeia, one brow raised. "Well-" she started.
"Cause they hate everyone at camp except each other and their select few friends. Sure they were nice to the younger campers but they never interacted with anyone outside their circle." Travis interrupted with a smirk.
"Hey Jackson!" She greeted, smiling at him. "Hey, I'm Jake nice to meet you, Jackson." Jake stuck out his hand for Percy who received an electric shock from the touch. "Hi! I'm Eleana, it's great to meet you!" Eleana introduced and Percy noticed flowers blooming in the grass around her as she vibrates with joy. "Hi I'm Kira, welcome." Kira nudged his arm slightly. "Nice to meet you, I'm Alex." He also shook Percy's hand. "Umm, nice to meet you all, I'm Percy Jackson." The boy replied nervously. "Are you getting a tour of camp?" Cassiopeia tilted her head as she looked up at Luke in curiosity, "did you not get one from Grover yesterday?"
"Oh umm, I only saw some of it yesterday and Luke was just taking me to get some food." Percy replied unconsciously fidgeting with his hands. "I see, well we can show you around if you want, I'm sure you have a lot of things to do Luke, being a counsellor and all." Eleana offered looking up at Luke with a grin. "If you don't mind, I do have a sword class to teach." Luke remembered before running off, leaving Percy in the care of the five siblings. "So, over there is the archery range." Kira pointed to the rows of targets to their left.
"Oh that's where the sword practice takes place." Jake nodded over to the arena on their right as they walked around it. "Those are the cabins, I'm sure you have seen them though." Alex directed his attention to the cabins arranged in a U shape now to their left. "Straight ahead is the mess hall, technically you're supposed to sit with your cabin but me and Jake, sometimes Eleana sit together because me and Eleana don't have cabins here but Eleana does sit with the Demeter kids sometimes." Cassiopeia remarked as they walked into the mess hall.
"We burn offerings with dinner to the gods, they like the smell of the food." Jake explained as they lead Percy to the Hermes table. "Hi Conner, Travis, Chaos, Trix, this is Percy. Be nice." Cassiopeia introduced before glaring at them, daring them to be mean to him. "Hi-" "guys!" The ginger twins waved at the two as they directed Percy to sit down.
"This is Conner and Travis Stoll and Fred and George Weasley. They are sons of Hermes and friends of ours, they'll take care of you while you eat. When you're done find us again and we will show you some more things, K?" Eleana explained while Percy stared at her confused until they began to leave when he panicked slightly. "So, Percy" "how do you feel about pranks?"
"Ok so, what do you think?" Kira asked, leading Percy to sit down with them by the where the forest met the beach. "I think, that this is all crazy." Percy sighed, leaning back onto one of the trees. "I get it." Eleana smiled sympathetically.
"On the bright side you were amazing at sword fighting and canoeing!" Cassiopeia offered an assuring smile. "Really? That was awful, it was just beginners luck." Percy argued with a dejected voice. "No, no. It was good, I've seen far worse first attempts than yours." Cassiopeia combated trying to help the boy's confidence. "Hey guys!" Grover ran over to them, "Chiron wants to talk with you." He was looking at the mages as he spoke. "Ok, we'll be right there, can you stay with Percy till we get back." Jake said patting the satyr on the shoulder as they jogged up to the big house.
