Chapter 2
The next morning I woke up to a cloud of fog. I packed my things into my bag and decided to leave it under the bridge. Today I would explore my new temporary home. I took some of the money I had left and ran like the speed of light to the top of the bridge. Then started walking along it following the road again.
Soon I started seeing small buildings and people. I looked up at the sign of one of them to see it said 'Diner'. At that moment my stomach began to grumble. I hadn't eaten since I got on the bus yesterday. So I started towards the diner. Just as I was in the middle of the road I heard someone scream.
"LOOK OUT."
I turned just in time to see a truck. It slammed right into me. I flew through the air and hit the ground with a crack. All I saw after that was darkness.

"Honey can you hear me?" I heard a voice of a women call.
"She's not responding." Said another.
I groaned at that moment opening my eyes for a second before shutting them again after being blinded by the light.
"She's waking up!" Called the first voice again.
"Good I'll inform the doctor."responded the other.
I opened my eyes to get a look at the people who were with me. One was a brunette the other a blonde. Both middle aged. They were nurses. I must be at a hospital. What happen? I racked my brain till I remembered the truck.
"Hello honey." The blonde nurse said.
I just stared at her. I didn't like hospitals.
"How are you feeling? Do you remember what happen?" She asked to me while checking the ivy fluids that I noticed were connected to me. I ignored her and reached to yank the needle out of me.
"No sweetheart. You need to leave that in." She said urgently.
I glared at her and leaned back in the bed. I needed to get out.
"Well you don't seem to be in pain." She said with a smirk.
I just stared at her. And she sighed.
Just then the brunette nurse came back with the man I assumed to be the doctor. He was the most handsome man I had ever seen. He had beautiful butterscotch colored eyes and silky blonde hair slicked back perfectly. He could be a model. Judging by the nurses reactions from being near him I wasn't the only one that thought he was gorgeous. Honestly though he was just a man. They were acting if they had just saw Jesus.
"Hello. I'm Dr.Cullen. It seems you have had quite the accident." He said looking over some papers.
The nurses left the room smiling at the doctor as the went. I just rolled my eyes. The doctor noticed and smiled slightly.
"Well from the looks of your files you have a broken arm, fractured leg, and broken ribs. But you should heal after a couple weeks." He said while looking up from his file.
I crossed my arm and looked out the window.
"Well I have asked around and no one seems to know you. Would you please give me your name so I can call your parents to inform them of your accident." He said patiently.
I looked at him and stared.
What was I going to say. Even if he knew my name no one was coming to look for me. Better to say nothing then to tell them anything about me.
He looked at me with concern. "Please tell me your name. I am only trying to help." He told me with pleading eyes.
I just continued to stay silent. Maybe he would give up and go away. The blonde nurse came to the door.
"We gotta another one Dr.Cullen. You are needed in the emergency room." she said to him. She looked over at me. "Did you get her name?" She asked curiously.
Dr.Cullen got up seeming reluctant.
"No." He sighed. "I didn't."
He looked at me with emotion I couldn't quite understand then headed for the door.
" I'm sure she'll come around." The nurse said closing the door behind him.
As soon as they had left I pulled the ivy needle out of me and yanked back the covers. I placed my hand on my leg and concentrated. I watched as my leg began to heal. I did that to my ribs and arm.
I figured out I could heal my myself and others when I found a hurt bird a couple years back. The ability comes in handy when you live mostly in the woods.
When I healed my self I went to the window. And looked out. I was about four stories up. I climbed out the window and jumped. I landed on the ground gracefully. I looked around to see if anyone noticed. When I saw no one I took off for the bridge. I needed to rest. The accident shouldn't have given me such bad injuries.I think by resting I will come back to full health.
