Chpt. 30: Surprise

Chapter 30

Before I even had the chance to step outside the car I was blind folded.

"What's going on?" I asked curiously.

Alice let out a soft giggle and tugged me forward.

"Time to show you your surprise!" She said happily.

I nodded letting a small smile grace my lips.

With that I was lead carefully through the house. When I reached the top of the stair case we walked a little ways down the hall and then stopped. I heard a door open and I couldn't help but bite my lip in excitement.

"Here you go dear." I heard Esme say as the blindfold was taken off of me.

I gasped when I saw what was in front of me.

"Is this for me?" I asked in awe.

I turned and found the entire family watching me.

"Yes." Edward said giving me a crooked smile. "Everything is yours."

I grinned and shot into my room quicker then a blink of an eye. I zipped around the room looking at everything. The walls were painted in purple and lime green. On the dresser I had lots of trinkets and some of the things I had collected over the years. In the corner was a computer, beside it an iPod, beats, and not far from it mounted on the wall was a large flat screen TV. I moved to another part of my spacious room and saw a guitar & arts and crafts stuff.

I didn't really know how to draw, I wasn't even remotely close to knowing how to play the guitar, but I always wanted to.

I spent a couple more minutes inspecting all the stuff they had gotten for me purposely avoiding the bed.

Then when I had looked at everything I turned. Slowly, I made my way to the large bed. Standing at the foot of it I ran my hand down the wooden pole before walking around and trailing my fingers along the comforter.

Upon the bed was a box and a huge teddy bear. For the first time sense I had entered the room I looked up.

"What's this?" I asked softly.

"The rest of your surprise." Carlisle replied with a smile.

I smiled and crawled onto my bed and sat beside the bear that was half my size.

Reaching out for the larger box of the to I began to open it. When I did I couldn't help but smile.

"A radio..." I said softly.

I looked up at Edward and grinned. I turned it around carefully.

"I saw it in the store and I thought of you. I hope you like it."

I smiled and nodded my head not saying a word. I wanted to thank him. Thank all of them but a simple thank you didn't seem to be enough.

With tears in my eyes I ran towards my family and engulfed the nearest person into a hug. Which happen to be Carlisle.

"Thank you." I softly. "Thank you so much." 

I then turned to Edward and jumped into his arms. He hugged me tight and I couldn't help but smile. I then hugged everyone and thanked them over and over again. I even hugged Rosalie, catching her off guard.

The only person I didn't hug was Jasper. I couldn't even look him in the eye when I thanked him for allowing me into his family.

I still felt extremely awful for throwing him into the wall in his own home. 

He didn't seem to mind and he never showed any sign of hatred towards me. Before I had time to dwell on it I found myself being swept in to my room again by Alice and surprisingly Rosalie.

"Come you haven't even seen the closet yet." Alice squealed excitedly.

From the short time that I knew Alice she had shown me her love for fashion. I knew the second she opened that door I would never have to worry about wearing the same clothes again.

Rosalie moved to open the door and when it was fully open I grinned. The entire closet was filled with designer clothes and designer shoes. I had never been one to dress up, mainly because I had nothing to dress up in. But I knew I would love and cherish the clothes and everything that everyone had gotten me.

"Alice!" I gasped. 

"Do you like it?" She asked while wrapping her small but strong arms around my shoulders.

"I love it. Thank you." I said hugging her. Then I hugged Rosalie once more this time she even hugged me back.

I turned to everyone and thank them agian. After all the excitement of my surprise Esme told me she was going to make me dinner. Carlisle told everyone to let me settle in my room and I happily began to do a more extensive exploration of my room.

Once I was finished I went to take a shower and came back to my room to find clothes laid out on the bed for me. I smiled an shook my head. I knew this had to have been Alice.

I then went an put on the clothes that Alice had gotten out for me when a knock sounded at the door.

"Come in." I said turning around to see who it was.

In the door way was Jasper. 

I froze and stared at him.

"Esme says that your dinner is ready."

I looked away from his eyes guilt still knawing at me.

"Alright....I'll be down in a second."

He stared me a second longer before turning to leave. 

"Wait!" I called out quickly.

He turned and raised an eyebrow. 

"Jasper...I'm really sorry...about early." I said blushing and looking down. " I didn't mean to throw you against the wall. Sometimes I get so overwhemled with my abilities that I can't control them. I lash out and I hurt people. I know you were only trying to help me but I'm not used to being helped. So thank you for trying early. I promise I want ever throw you like that again." 

Once I finished my apology I looked up into his eyes and saw a small smile on his face.

"There is nothing to forgive. I was never mad. If anything I was impressed with your abilities as well as your choice to remove yourself from the situation before you caused real damage. You are young and to handle such ablity on your own and never have been taught control was amazing." He said to me.

I looked at him in surprise. "Soo...you don't hate me then?" 

He looked at me in shock. "Of course not your my little sister I could never hate you."

I smiled and walked over to Jasper. I slowly moved forward to give him a hug. At first he was tense but after a second he, like Rosalie, hugged me back.

After me and Jasper made up I grabbed his hand and tugged him along with me down stairs. Edward rasied an eyebrow when he saw us I just grinned and kept making my way to the delicious food that I knew was waiting for me in the kitchen.
