Chapter 12
After breakfast Edward left to get Bella. He told me she was excited to meet me. I was a little curious to meet her myself. Bella the vampire girl. Well I guess I was Cora the vampire girl as well. It's crazy to think I have only been in Forks 4 days. So much has changed. I had told someone my horrible past. I had befriended vampires. It all seemed surreal. But it felt right. It felt good to be apart of something after being alone for so long.
Carlisle offered to answer any questions I had about vampirism.
But Alice insisted she dress me up for the day. He assured me he could answer them later own. Alice dragged me upstairs and pushed me into the bathroom, throwing a towel at me. I showered and she snatched me up as soon as I left the bathroom.
"Alice...this isn't neccesary." I told her.
"Yes it is. Please Cora I always wanted a little sister to dress up." She said with a pout.
"But I don't even have clothes." I sighed in defeat.
"Don't worry I got you a outfit you can wear. So stop whining and smile." She said giggling.
I smiled and sat on her bed in her room.
"Okay." I replied.
"Ohh...your the best Cora." She said excitedly.
"See look at this. I know you'll love it and look great." She said smiling.
I looked at the out fit and smiled.
"Alice it's nice. But I can't wear that. It looks really expensive." I said doubtfully.
"You can and you will." She said with a grin.
"Now change. I'll be right back." She told me leaving the room.
I changed into the outfit Alice picked. It was a white tank top with a simple black shear see through blouse, ripped skinny jeans and some black and white low top converses. Just as I finished putting on the shoes Alice came back.
"Awwe you look so cute!!" She said to me.
"Thanks." I said blushing.
"Now! For your hair go sit on the stool." She commanded.
I did what she said without a word.
"Oh! You are way more fun to dress up then Bella. She always puts up a fight." Alice said smiling.
"I could never imagine why." I said giggling.
She just smiled and shook her head.
When she finished doing my hair she put a little bit of lip gloss and mascara on me.
"You don't need a lot of make-up. Your a natural beauty." She told me smiling. When she finished she stood back and looked at me.
"You look gorgeous Cora." She said giggling.
She covered my eyes and led me to a full body mirror.
"Alright you can look." She said uncovering my eyes.
What I saw made me gasp. In the mirror stood a beautiful girl. Her hair was curled into soft flowing curls pinned to the side with a sparking sapphire butterfly clip. Her eyes glowed a bright blue. I reached out to touch the mirror and saw the girl mimicked my movements. The girl was me. I smiled. For once I felt beautiful.
"Alice...." I whispered.
She giggled and came to stand beside me.
"Am I good or what?" She said with a smile.
"Your amazing Alice. Thank you." I said happily.
"Your welcome Cora dear. You deserve it." She said smiling.
I couldn't help it I hugged her tightly.
"Hey now! You will ruin my master piece." She said laughing.
I pulled back.
"Sorry." I smiled.
"Come let's show off your new look." She said to me.
"Alright." I said blushing slightly.
I looked back at the mirror and smiled. My reflection smiled back at me.
