Chpt.18: Rez

Chapter 18

After Carlisle left Alice came and to help me get ready. Once I showered I put on a pair of jeans a blue t-shirt with a cartoon on it and blue toms.

When I finished she gave me a suitcase with clothes in it and hugged me.

"See you Sunday. Be safe." She said to me.

I carried my suitcase down stairs. I hugged my goodbyes to most and smiled at Rosalie and Jasper.

"Oh I will see you Sunday honey." Esme said to me.

"Okay." I told her smiling.

She then hugged Bella and told her the same.

Soon I was speeding down the road to the Rez.

"You can just leave your things at Jake's. We are having dinner at his place." She said to me.

"Alright." I said looking out the window.

All of a sudden Edward pulled the car to the side of the road.

"What are you doing?" I asked confused.

"This is as far as I can go." Edward said getting out of the car.

I got out and grabbed my suitcase.

"Edward hugged Bella then kissed her softly. I looked away not wanting to ruin their moment.

Then he looked at me and smiled.

"I got you a phone with all our numbers in it. Call if you need anything." He said to me.

I took the phone and looked at it.

"Thanks Eddie dearest." I said teasing

He narrowed his eyes trying not to smile.

"No really." I said looking at the phone."Its nice."

He hugged me and kissed the top of my head.

"Glad you like it." He said to me.

Bella smiled at us and hugged my shoulders.

"Don't worry Edward you little sister will be safe." She said smiling.

"You be safe to." He said kissing her once more.

I turned and looked at the direction of the Rez.

A guy sat leaning against the his car. He had dark russet color skin and dark brown hair and eyes.

"Come on Cora. Bye Edward." Bella said heading towards the guy.

I looked at Edward who was in the car already. I waved to him and he waved back. I picked my suitcase up and walked towards Bella and her friend.

He was hugging her and smiling.

"Cora this is Jacob. Jake this is Cora." She introduced.

"So your the newest 'Cullen'" He said smirking.

"Yea...I guess." I said to him.

He nodded and grabbed my suitcase for me putting it in the trunk.

"Thanks..."I mumbled.

"Sure.sure." He said getting into the car.

I got in the back and Bella got in the front with Jake.

They spoke for a little bit as he drove and I just looked at the surroundings.

"She always this quiet?" Jake asked Bella.

She shook her head and turned to look at me.

"You okay Cora." She asked concerned.

"Yea." I replied.

"We're going to stop by Emily's."he told us.

Bella turned in her seat.

"When you see Emily don't stare it bugs Sam." She said to me.

"Why would I stare?" I asked curiously.

"You'll know when you see her." She said turning back around.

I ran my fingers through my hair. It felt weird being in the car with them. They were so close and honestly I knew nothing about either of them.

We pulled into the driveway of what I assumed to be Emily's house. Into the wolf's den I thought.
