"Back to a little bit of a song era" Loki looked back through her notes "Actually not really but a song!"
"Exciting" Hermione said "Is it someone we know?"
"I don't think so..." Loki muttered "Anyone know of Ariana Grande?"
The Theatre remained silent.
"So no one does" Loki confirmed "She started off as a Nickelodeon actress but quickly made her way up to a pop singer. She's incredibly popular."
"So what song are you showing us?" Luna asked.
"The song is called 7 rings" Loki said "It's not her normal pop, more like rap but it is extremely popular. 1 billion plus views, I remember streaming it in 2020 or 2021 to get it to 1 billion on You tube."
"Random fact," Ron muttered.
"Let's get into it," Loki smiled.
*7 rings*
"I don't know if I should be in the room to watch this," Snape asked.
"It's nothing too inappropriate," Loki said.
"So there is a level of inappropriateness" Snape confirmed.
"Yes, it seems like" Lucius held his chest.
"Oh lord" Snape pounded his fist.
"Yeah, breakfast at Tiffany's and bottles of bubbles"
"Girls with tattoos who like getting in trouble"
"I recognize this beat but it's turned into more upbeat" Harry tapped his chin.
"Rhythm?" Hermione asked.
"What are you muggles up to?" Blaise asked.
"We're not muggles," Hermione laughed bitterly. "It's the song from the sound of music."
"My Favorite Things" Harry gasped.
"Exactly," Loki nodded "That's the first thing I noticed when I listened to this for the first time."
"Is this what artists do to songs now?" Hermione asked.
"They take old songs and base it off it?" Harry added.
"It is kind of what it is," Loki shrugged. "Yes, though."
"Lashes and diamonds, ATM machines"
"So basically this is my anthem" Draco smirked "It's about being rich."
"Something you broke bitches can't relate too" Pansy cackled.
"It is our anthem" Blaise clapped.
"But Snape was poor," Harry referenced.
"Shut up" Snape growled.
"Well he is a half blood," Draco laughed.
"The rich pureblood anthem" Pansy squealed.
"How cool" Narcissa folded her arms.
"Buy myself all of my favorite things (yeah)"
"I told you," Harry said.
"What?" Sirius asked.
"It's referencing the song, My Favorite Things," Lupin said.
"This is a rich song" Blaise confirmed.
