Goodbye For Good

"Well, this is kind of awkward." Loki stepped back into the room.

"Why would it be?" Hermione asked.

"Well..." Loki sighed, trying to find the words.

"Loki..." Harry raised his eyebrows.

"Well, I have to let you all go." Loki frowned, although they could not see her face.

The theater gasped.

"Ugh, finally," Bellatrix sighed. "I have been waiting for this day."

"Same as I." Lucius shivered. "I hated it here."

"Did you though?" Dumbledore turned to him. "You've gotten so much more insight on what is about to happen. All of us did."

"We all did," Ginny nodded.

"If she will even allow us to keep the information when she sends us back." Hermione turned to Loki.

"Still haven't decided on that," Loki confirmed.

"I think we should do a few things before we leave," George said.

"Well, I'll decide when you all leave," Loki chuckled. "But would it shock you all even more if I told y'all it's 2026 in my world?"

"WHAT THE," Neville yelled.

"It was like just yesterday you said it was 2022..." Harry whispered.

"It does seem like that." Loki gave a bitter smile. "I've grown up with all of you, and the truth is I have a lot to pursue, and I can no longer pursue this anymore."

"Pursue?" Luna raised an eyebrow.

"College?" Loki smiled. "I've been so busy with applications, I can no longer keep up, and my last year of high school, of course."

"Secondary school," Draco tried to correct.

"Same thing." Loki rolled her eyes. "I know I wasn't able to show you a lot because of my business, but I did want to let you all know that Stranger Things Season 5 did come out a few weeks ago, and it was really good."

"The redhead, Max," Ron gasped.

"Yup, still alive actually and better than ever," Loki said.

"That was the final season, right?" Hermione asked.

"Yeah, it was. I liked it, to be honest, even though I can see the complaints," Loki said.

"I wish I could watch," Blaise said.

"Hey, maybe when you all are back at Hogwarts, I'll drop a little something from my world to yours," Loki suggested.

"That would be delightful," Blaise nodded.

"The anniversary of this, though, is actually coming up, so it won't take the full four years, but it was January 29th, 2022," Loki also shared.

"Wow, that's insane," Harry said.

"I think everyone should go around and say their favorite things that they saw here," Loki suggested.

"That's a great idea," Sirius applauded.

"I have a few up my sleeve." Fred rubbed his hands.

"Should I play some music from Wicked: For Good?" Loki turned to go do that but noticed everyone just staring at her. "You all don't know what Wicked is?"

"Probably one of your future things," Lupin said.

"I mean, ohhh," Loki realized. "I thought you might have at least known the book."
