Scene XVIII
Young China POV
After I got expelled from that human middle school, we moved to another county where my new middle school will be. The only reason why I was accepted was because I was going to be a country in the future. Other than that, they wouldn't have accepted me because of why I was expelled, even if I had the best grades.
I sigh softly as I look outside the car window. All because of America's dad. I let my guard down and now look where I am now? I am kilometers away from my girlfriend. I miss her already. And the fact that she's fighting her sister right now makes it ten times worse. Also, they closed off the borders to the county so I can't go back. I left her when she needed me the most. I feel awful.
Either way, I will stay strong for her. I will find her in the near future and bring us back together. We are bound to be and no one will separate us. I will continue to post things on my story that America only knows. In a way, social media is my gateway to connecting with her again.
If she gets a phone and downloads countrygrams of course. I can only hope she does.
Right now I'm on my way to East UN middle school: a boarding school where all the best kids go to. And guess what? They allowed my brother to skip a grade because they thought his straight As were amazing while I'm here with straight A+s! It's all because of the stupid British bastard that had to put drugs in my locker. Where did he get it anyways? He probably does drugs himself!
As my mom pulls up to the driveway I begin thinking about my plans at this new school. I'm only going to find loyal friends and be friends with the teachers. Sounds easy enough, but in a school with so many future leaders, there has to be something darker going on. I'll find out soon enough. I only need to find trustworthy people to talk to and be friends with. For high school—that's another plan for the future.
"我们到了(We are here)!" Mom cheers. I'm still mad at her for making us move to this UN county. Why couldn't she explain to the principal that I didn't take drugs? Why couldn't she just let me enroll in another high school in the human county? There are many out there! I could stay close to America. Worst of all, she wouldn't even tell me how America's doing even though she talks to her dad for business. She always has this stupid reply "处理好自己的问题(take care of your own problems)." I thought she supported my relationship. That was a big no. She saw America as a threat even though they didn't even get into any conflicts. They were just mutual!
"再见," I grumble. I get out of the car and slam the door behind with rage. me so that Taiwan has to open the door again. I quickly open the trunk and get my emerald luggage out and slam the trunk down so Taiwan has to open it again.
Taiwan whines, "中國!"
I smirk, amused at his annoyance. At least that brightened my mood. I sigh, walk through the beautiful front garden covered in fall leaves. My anger is quickly swept away with peace. UN middle school is something else. You feel like you're in royalty. You feel like you're on top of the world. And I will be on top of the world. I will do it for America so that no one will bother us or attack us. I feel like this is going to be a great year.
I walk through the front entrance and see white pillars with beautiful ancient drawings from all over the world. And most importantly, the shiny golden chandelier hanging from above. I feel important being here. I walk down to the hallway to reach the main hall where all the students are. Two girls come up to me and that's when I recognize them from my countrygram scour.
