Scene XXII
Young China POV (the night of the party)
"It's time to wake up," I whisper in Russia's ear.
He turns away from me on his black bed. "Go away," he grumbles tiredly.
"You promised you would come with me." I huff, pulling his comforter off of him.
"Give it back," he snaps, feeling around for his comforter. I grab his hands and pull him off the bed making him hiss when he hits the floor with the thud.
"We are already late. The party started 10 minutes ago. I already let you sleep 30 more minutes," I groan.
Russia groggily gets up from the floor. "I want bed!" He demands like a little kid. I sigh. He's so stubborn and it's adorable.
I suddenly get a notification from the party group chat. I open my phone to see that South Korea's asking me where I am. "Everyone's waiting for me and I'm not leaving without you," I say to Russia.
"Fine," he yawns, grumpily grabbing some clothes from his drawer to switch into.
I look back at my phone:
DJBoy(South Korea): China, where are you? Everyone's here besides you.
IlovePho(Vietnam): Yeah China! You're making me worried.
GoldenStar(me): I finally got 俄罗斯 out of bed. I'll be down soon, don't worry.
Sunflower(Ukraine): Typical Росія. He loves his sleep.
DJBoy: See ya!
"Let's go," Russia says, exiting the bathroom as he fixes his messy hair. He's wearing his usual black shirt and black sweatpants. There's no color and I don't like it. I quickly take a silver necklace from his nightstand and put it around his neck. There. Some 'color'. And he looks much more handsome. I'm sure if he switched to having color in his attire, everyone would be drooling after him. I sure would—but only if he drools after me.
I smile, "now we can go." I grab the pizza boxes that I sneaked in with the help of North Korea on the security cameras. Russia opens the door for me and we walk down the white and blue hallway to the elevators. He presses the elevator button and we wait.
"Excited?" I ask.
He shakes his head, "never."
"Such an introvert," I chuckle, stepping into the elevator.
"Which floor?" He asks.
"Fifth." I hum, "you should know this. You're North Korea's friend."
The elevator door closes and starts moving down. "I never needed to go to his dorm," Russia shrugs.
We reach the fifth floor and step out. Russia opens the door to the hallway with his keycard and we knock on South Korea's vibrating door. He must be playing really loud music there. I'm glad all the dorm rooms are soundproof. The vibrating stops, indicating that they turned off the music, and the door opens to a quiet room.
"We brought pizza!" I hold up the pizza boxes. The room cheers. Russia and I step into the dorm. I put the pizza boxes on the table. Russia lies on North Korea's bed, looking at the ceiling. North Korea retreats into his box and opens his computer. Then, the music starts playing loudly. The whole room vibrates and I hold the table in surprise. I see Russia falling off the bed which makes me chuckle. This will be a fun night.
I spot Germany sitting on South Korea's bed, watching the others dance. I joined him. "How do you like it so far?" I ask. I can tell he's watching Poland dance around with Ukraine and Japan.
