All of the boys are running around their houses trying to get ready for the prom. Namjoon lost his shoes, Seokjin couldn't find his tie, Yoongi couldn't get his hair to stay where he wanted it, Hoseok's button broke on his blazer so him and his sister are looking for it to sew it back on. Jimin couldn't get his eyeliner right and that was pissing him off tremendously, Taehyung and Jungkook get ready at Taehyung's together, considering they are each other's date. One room and two guys who are running around, you will tend to lost stuff.

Yoongi yells out in frustration. His mother walks into the room and sighs. "I told you, you should have gotten a haircut." He look at his mother and she just smiles. "I came in here to tell you, everyone should he here soon to take pictures. I get to meet all your friend's parents and then you guys can go eat." She says and Yoongi nods. "This should go well." He mumbles, fixing his front hair pieces.

"God, I'm so nervous." He lets out a frustrated sigh. "Well, why are you so nervous?" His mom asked, leaning against the door frame. Yoongi sits at his desk and begins to do a little makeup for his blemishes on his face. "I got Hoseok a little gift and I'm going to give it to him at dinner and then if we slow dance together, I was going to ask him to be my boyfriend."

His mother smiles big. "Mom," Yoongi warns. "I know, I know. You told me not to make a big deal about it but I can't help it. You have been so much happier with Hoseok in your life. He makes you so happy. Even though you don't talk about it a lot, I can see it. Yoongi, I am so so proud of you." His mother speaks and he smiles.

That's really all he wanted to hear.

Yoongi gets up and hugs his mother. His mother is a little taken aback at first. Yoongi doesn't touch other people, everyone knows this. This is the first person he has made physical contact with that wasn't Hoseok. His mother hugs him back, with tears in her eyes.

"You have no idea how much that meant to me." He whispered and she smiles, pulling back to look at him. "You have no idea how much this means to me." She says, pulling him into another hug. They pull back and she wipes her tears. "Look at you!" She puts her hands on Yoongi's shoulders. "All grown up." She mumbles. The doorbell rings and they both look in that direction. "Come on!" She says. "Let's take some pictures."

The boys get sat at a restaurant. A lot of other students from their school are also there. Yoongi spots Jaehyung as they walk by a bunch of tables. Jaehyung smiles at Yoongi and nods his head. Yoongi gives him a small smile with a nods. Yoongi thinks it's weird at first but he shrugs it off. At least Hoseok is safe from him for good. They get their drink order taken and talk amongst themselves.

"You look really nice Yoonie." Hoseok says, Yoongi smiles with a blush. "You look wonderful Hoba." "So," Hobi drags out the 'o'. "Can I have my gift now?" Yoongi laughs a little and shakes his head. "Do you really want it right now?" He asked and Hoseok nods. "Like really want it?" Hoseok nods again with a smile. "How much?" Yoongi raises an eyebrow.

"Hm, I am staying the night at your house tonight so I could show you how much I want it." "The gift, Hoba." Yoongi corrects him and Hoseok laughs. "Fine," Yoongi says. He reaches into his pocket on the inside of his blazer. It's a small blue velvet box. Hoseok looks down at it and back up at Yoongi. "Just because you deserve it." Yoongi whispers.

He hands the box to Hoseok and Hoseok grabs it. "Where did you get the money for this?" He asked and Yoongi shakes his head. "I promise it wasn't expensive. I got it from Target." Yoongi says and Hoseok laughs. "Just open it." He says.

Hoseok opens the box and a sliver chained necklace is in the box. It has a small, flat, circle pendant on it that has the letter Y on it. Hoseok smiles and looks back up at Yoongi. "Y for Yoonie." Hoseok says and Yoongi nods with a smile. "I thought it would look nice on your pretty little neck." Yoongi says and Hoseok blushes deeply. "You would know." Hoseok says and that makes Yoongi laugh.

"Put it on me?" Hobi asked and Yoongi nods. As Hoseok is taking the necklace out of the box, the waiter comes back with their drinks. Yoongi puts the necklace on Hoseok and Hoseok smiles. Hoseok turns back around and touches the necklace. "I will never take it off." He whispers and Yoongi smiles. "I can't wait for tonight." Yoongi mumbles. Meaning two different things, when he asked Hoseok to be his boyfriend and for when they get home.

Yoongi doesn't dance, but is anybody surprised? Hoseok is dancing with the rest of the boys while he sits at a table, drinking some juice and watching from afar. He doesn't mind just sitting there, as long as Hoseok is having fun.

"You don't dance or could you not find a date?" Yoongi hears a voice and turns around to see Jaehyung sitting in a chair beside him. "Don't dance." Yoongi says, drinking his drink. "I hear you. I'm not too big on it either." Yoongi nods.

"Listen, I wanted to apologize for bulling your friends. I had a bunch of stuff going on at home and I had to take my anger out and I shouldn't have taken it out on your friends." Jaehyung speaks. Yoongi nods and turns his body towards him. "Well you have to take under consideration that someone else might have a lot going on at home. Hoseok doesn't have it good but he has enough to keep him happy and you were going to ruin that for him."

"I know. And I truly am sorry. He does seem like a nice guy." Jaehyung says. "He is. He's the best." Yoongi says, looking over at Hoseok. He dances with Jungkook and Jimin, smiling from ear to ear. Taehyung dancing beside him as they hold hands. A slow song begins to play and Hoseok makes eye contact with Yoongi. "Well, I am assuming you have a certain someone to dance with. Thanks for letting me apologize." Jaehyung says with a nod before getting up and walking away.

Yoongi gets up and walks over to Hoseok. Yoongi wraps his arms around Hoseok's waist and Hobi wraps his arms around Gigi's neck. "Hello darling." Hoseok smiles, laying his head on Yoongi's chest. "Hey baby boy. Are you having fun?" Hoseok nods. "What did Jaehyung want?" Hoseok asked. Yoongi shrugs. "He just was apologizing for bullying you." Yoongi pushes a hair out of Hoseok's face before replacing his hand back onto Hobi's waist.

"I'm glad. I thought I was going to have to break up a fight." Hoseok says with a little laugh. "Fight? Please, you saw what I did to his scrawny ass." Yoongi says and Hoseok laughs. They dance in silence for a little while. Forgetting that there are people surrounding them in every angle. It felt like it was just them two on the dance floor. Yoongi holds Hoseok close, kissing the top of his head occasionally.

"Hey Hoba," Yoongi says. "Hoseok lifts his head and looks at Yoongi in the eyes. "There is something I wanted to ask you." Yoongi says and Hoseok nods. "Anything." Hoseok says.

"You have been so good to me. You really brought a lot of sunshine to my life. Light and warmth and kindness, I genuinely don't know what I would do without you. You texted me out of nowhere in the middle of the night and saved my life. If I believed in God, I would say that he sent you to me for a reason, but I don't. So, that makes this feel like fate. I was wondering if you would want to make this official and be my boyfriend?"

Hoseok's eyes well up with tears. Yoongi begins to panic a little and starts to trip over his words. "I-I mean, or not. I wouldn't have asked if I knew you were going to be upset. I'm sorry, let's forget I said-" Yoongi's words are cut off by Hoseok's lips on his. As Hoseok pulls back, Yoongi smiles.

"I would love to call you my boyfriend and have you call me yours." Hoseok says and Yoongi smiles back with a nod. Hoseok returns his head to Yoongi's chest and smiles. "I was so nervous to ask you." Yoongi says and Hoseok laughs a little. "I was going to ask you the same thing." Yoongi smiles big, blushing of course. Hoseok looks up at Yoongi and Yoongi looks at him.

"I can't wait to get to your house."
