Namjoon and Seokjin wake up early that morning to go to the store to plan for the celebration for Yoongi. They told his parents and texted Hoseok while he was alone so that he knew about it. Today would be the perfect day to do it because today was the day Yoongi and Hoseok were going on their date. Throughout the day Yoongi has been spending time with his parents while the other boys hang out upstairs.
"So, how is the relationship life treating you?" Yoongi's dad asked and Yoongi shrugs with a smile. "Pretty good. Hoseok is pretty good to me." He says, flipping through the photo album. Pictures of him and his brother when they were babies scroll the pages.
"Are you good to him?" His mother asked. Yoongi nods. "Of course. He has been through a lot so I try to keep him safe." Yoongi speaks. "I'm really glad you found someone who is really for you." His mother says. He turns to his mother with a smile. "We really are proud of you for how much you have grown. Emotional and mentally." His dad says.
Yoongi doesn't remember the last time he cried in front of his parents. This time, however, he almost let a tear slip. He is still the same old Yoongi so he didn't cry.
"I love you guys." Yoongi says, hugging his dad. His dad looks at his mother with a surprised expression. He can't remember the last time his son hugged him. He hugs him back with a small smile.

"Text me when you guys are ready." Yoongi's mother says, dropping them off at a mom and pop ramen shop. "Yes ma'am." Yoongi says, shutting the door. She drives away with a smile.
"My grandparents were really good friends with the owners so I basically grew up here." Yoongi says as they walk through the doors. "Hello, please take a seat, I will be-" The older lady stopped talking and looks at the now older boy. "Hello Hyunmin." Yoongi waves softly. "Oh, Yoongi! Quick Hojun! Baby Yoongi is here!" The lady yells into the kitchen. She rushes over to give Yoongi a hug. "I haven't seen you since you were about the height of my hips." The lady laughs.
The older man comes out from the kitchen. As Yoongi reunited with the older couple, Hoseok stand back and watches with a smile on his face. He loves the nostalgic feeling the place gives off, just because of the familiar atmosphere of having Yoongi in here.
"Who is this handsome boy?" Hyunmin says gesturing to Hoseok. Hoseok bows to the older couple. "Hyunmin, Hojun, this is my boyfriend Hoseok." Hyunmin and Hojun smile. "Well, it's nice to meet you Hoseok. This little boy used to run up and down the floors of this little restaurant everyday after school. It's nice to meet his significant other." Hyunmin says with a warm smile.
"And got in a lot of trouble too." Hojun says, clearing his throat. Hoseok laughs with a little smile. "These are like my second grandparents." Yoongi says to Hoseok. "It's nice to meet you both." Hoseok smiles, bowing again. "HoJun, whip up two bowls. On the house!" Hyunmin winks at the two boys, sitting them down at a table. "Yes ma'am!"
"I will go get you boys some water." Hojun says. The boys nods, bowing a little. "They are nice." Hoseok says and Yoongi nods. "They always have been." Yoongi says, resting his elbows on the table. "I would walk here everyday after school and wait for my parents to come get me." Hoseok laughs a little and nod his head. "I can see baby Yoongi running around this place."
Hyunmin returns with two glasses of water. "How is Seoul?" She asked and Yoongi shrugs. "If I'd never moved there I would have never met my friends and my Hoseok. So I am grateful for that." Yoongi says. Hyunmin smiles and taps the table, "I will let you two continue your date. Say goodbye before you leave." "Of course."

Yoongi showed Hoseok all of his favorite places growing up. He showed him his old house, the library he used to go to. The old book shop and the playground that is now tore down. The walk up to the brick wall of Yoongi's old school. Yoongi told Hoseok all of the stories that he could think of while they sat in front of the school and Yoongi smoked a cigarette.
The sun was going down so the two boys decided to walk back to the restaurant. Yoongi texts his mom as they are walking back.
"Thank you for showing me around. I enjoyed getting a tour of your childhood." Yoongi smiles at the older boy and nods. "I liked showing you around. Maybe someday you can show me around Gwangju." Yoongi says and Hoseok smiles with a nod. "Someday. Maybe when one of us gets our license, and a car, and I come back from the states," Hoseok trails on and that makes Yoongi laugh a little.
They sit in front of the ramen restaurant on a little brick wall. Yoongi grabs Hoseok's hand with a smile.
"I will wait for you." Yoongi says. Hoseok looks at the boy with a smile. "Yoonie, I think I would wait for you in the afterlife." "Well, I think I will wait for you in the next life." Hoseok giggles with a blush. "I will wait for you for as long as possible." Yoongi says, grabbing Hobi's face. Hoseok kisses the younger boy with a smile. "I will be waiting for as long as possible."
They smile at each other before Yoongi's mother pulls up to pick them up. "Come on, let's go to bed." Yoongi yawns as they get in the car. "But I'm not tired yet." Hoseok whines. "Yeah, nobody is tired yet. All of the boys were determined to wait for you guys to get back so we can have a Mario Party game." Yoongi sucks in his teeth and slumps down in his seat. "You know, for someone who doesn't sleep that often, you sure are ready to go to bed all the time." Yoongi and his mother laugh at Hoseok's comment.

Gigi, his mother, and Hoseok pull up to the house. Yoongi looks up at the house from the car. "Are you sure everyone didn't go to sleep?" Yoongi asked. His mother looks up and shrugs. "I guess they got tired of waiting." Hoseok hums and shakes his head, "Party poopers."
Little does Yoongi know, his father and the boys turn the lights out and are waiting in the kitchen with a cake and few decorations.
They all walk in the house and Yoongi's mom tries to come up with a excuse to get Yoongi to go into the kitchen. "Hey honey. I think I left my purse in the kitchen, could you go look?" She asked. Yoongi looks at her and smiles. "Wasn't it just in the car?" "What woman leaves their purse in the car? Just go look." She goes mother on him and he smiles with an eye roll.
Hoseok and Yoongi's mom slowly follow behind Yoongi, with their phones out ready to record. Yoongi turns the light on and handfuls of confetti get thrown on Yoongi. He jumps back a little being scared by the sudden ambush of colorful paper to the face. His smile grows as he sees his father and friends standing there with a cake. "Congratulations!" They all yell and Yoongi laughs a little.
Hoseok jumps on his back a little with a kiss on the cheek. Yoongi continues smiling while he asked, "What is all of this?" "We are so proud of you for working through your social anxiety to the point where you can talk to anyone, we decided to plan you this to show you just how proud we are." Namjoon explains and everyone blows their party blowers.
"You guys didn't have to do all this. I appreciate it but still." Yoongi says and everyone laughs a little. "Thank you guys. You all mean so much to me." He pulls his mother into a hug with a big smile. "Oh, let's go night swimming!" Yoongi's father says and everyone looks at Yoongi's mom for permission.
"Go for it." She says with a giggle. All of the boys, including Yoongi's dad, runs up the stairs to get changed.
