Yoongi secretly got his license without Hoseok knowing. He is 18 now and being 18 and having a license is some sort of independence for Yoongi. He feels a bit more comfortable now being a legal adult. He is surprising Hoseok for their year anniversary.

Yoongi fixes his freshly cut hair in the mirror. He knows that his other half will be mad that he cut his hair back short but he knows he will love it regardless. He looks at himself for a second.

He wears a plain white shirt and a pair of blue jeans. The two decided to dress casually considering it's not a fancy date. Yoongi grabs his keys and backpack, throwing it on his back.

When he gets downstairs, he sees his mother and father sitting on the couch. "Hey bud, you headed out?" His mother says with a smile and Yoongi nods. "I just have to grab the food and put my shoes on."

"I threw some extra seaweed chips in there for you." Yoongi rolls his eyes at his dad with a smile. "You didn't put those in there for me." His father smiles and just looks back at the tv. "Happy anniversary son." Yoongi laughs and goes to get the picnic basket.

"Drive safe darling. And happy anniversary." His mother smiles at him. "I will. And thank you both. I love you guys. See you later." Yoongi leaves after putting his white high top converse.

Yoongi puts the picnic basket in the front seat and throws his backpack in the backseat. He pushes his glasses up and rubs his hands together. "Okay," He whispers, taking his phone out to take text Hoseok.

yoongi:
me and mom are on the way.

hoba:
i can't wait to see you!

Yoongi pulls into the driveway of Hoseok house. Hoseok stands on the front porch with a confused look on his face. He wears a brown hoodie and a pair of khaki cargo pants. His glasses less brown eyes sparking in the sunlight. Yoongi smiles, knowing he has no idea who is in the car.

Yoongi cuts the car off and gets out of the car with a big smile. "Happy anniversary my Hoba." Hoseok's face relaxes and he smiles, walking up to him. "Happy anniversary my Yoonie." The two share a kiss before Hoseok says, "Should I address the elephant that is currently in the driveway or currently on your head?"

Yoongi laughs a little pulling the keys back out of his pocket. "Surprise!" He says and Hoseok laughs. "Whose car is this? And why did you cut your hair?" Hoseok pouts about the hair. "Mom and dad bought it for me. My brother got his first car on his 18th birthday too. Both used but in great shape. I like it already. And because hair was too much to maintain. I needed a break."

"You have been hiding a car from me for a month?" Hoseok says with a laugh. "No, I have been hiding the car from you for a week. I have been driving my mom's around since my birthday." Hoseok laughs.

"Well come on pretty boy, your chariot awaits." Yoongi says going to open the car door for him. Hoseok smiles and follows.

After they both get in the car and buckle themselves, Hoseok asked, "Well where are we going first?" "To a florist. I thought it would be a cute idea for you to make your own bouquet." Hoseok looks at the older boy with widen eyes, slightly sparkling.

"What, you thought I forgot your flowers?" Yoongi asked and Hoseok smiles. "Kind of." Yoongi laughs. "Never that." He says, focused on the road now.
