chimmy:

chimmy:
i'd like to think so.
yoongi:
okay, how does one reassure someone else?
yoongi:
asking for a friend.
chimmy:
of course you are.
chimmy:
reassurance for what?
yoongi:
hoseok said he needed reassurance a lot but i'm not sure what that means.
chimmy:
it basically means you just need to remove his doubt or worry. if i'm not mistaken this is the first time both of you liked someone before. i'm sure there is a feeling of angst between it all.
yoongi:
yeah but how? is there something special i can do?
chimmy:
bring him flowers, his favorite snack, remembering little things about him. telling him that there isn't anyone else that compares to him and he is the most beautiful person that you have ever seen.
yoongi:
uh, am i telling him or should you? sounded like it came from the heart.
chimmy:
straight as a stripper pole gigi.
chimmy:
the little things matter.
yoongi:
yeah i know. i just need some help. idk what i'm doing.
chimmy:
and i'm here to help. these looks don't do all the work. you have to be charming, and sweet, and smile. you have a really cute smile so i'm sure hoseok loves that.
yoongi:
yeah, he does.
yoongi:
god, what was i thinking? taking someone out on a date? please.
chimmy:
you guys literally hangout all the time. why is it suddenly so different?
yoongi:
it's valentines day jimin. he is my first valentine literally ever.
chimmy:
you do realize i have never had one either, right?
yoongi:
yeah but your situation is different. i actually like the guy i'm talking to.
chimmy:
fair.
chimmy:
look when you go to pick him up, have some flowers with you and maybe a little gift. something small but something he really likes. after when you are eating dinner, hold his hand from across the table and listen to him talk. smile and laugh. just be his shoulder to put his head on and his hand to hold.
chimmy:
all anybody wants is to feel like they are wanted.
yoongi:
are you okay? that was deep for you to say.
chimmy:
i'm fine, i'm just trying to step into the shoes of someone else for a change.
yoongi:
oh, well keep doing that.
chimmy:
i think this is good for you and i'm not gonna be there every step of the way to talk you through a relationship. you gotta learn this stuff on your own.
yoongi:
yeah i know. i just don't know how. nobody taught me how.
chimmy:
because nobody can teach you. it's a learning experience as you go. you learn from your mistakes and try your best not to do them again.
chimmy:
however i can tell you one thing. communication is the most #1 thing in a relationship. if you are feeling some type of way about something or you are going to make a decision and you don't know if it will effect just you or both of you, talk to him.
yoongi:
got it.
yoongi:
jimin, i'm really nervous.
chimmy:
i know gigi. but it gets easier as time moves on, i promise.
yoongi:
i have to go, i will let you know how it goes tomorrow.
chimmy:
just be yourself, be safe, and breathe. and most importantly, have fun. 🫶🏽
